Long John Silver ... what a freaking finale! this show is so good happy to be rewatching it with people who love it so much! i have tried to get friends to watch it with me but they always quit in season one for some reason its a so burn i guess to really feel connected to the characters but i feel past season two the hook is set motives are clear: there isn't any more mystery perse besides the new cast they introduce but you get to see everyone play off each other moves and counter moves just really brilliant story telling

2024-05-20 04:22:17 +0000 UTCDon´t know if they´re aware, since it´s not been mentioned as far as i know, that the characters in the show are a mix of historical(this i do know they know), made up and fictional characters from the novel Treasure Island. The novel in which Long John Silver, Captain Flint and Billy Bone were born. Where John got the nickname Long John because of his height making him a formidable and brutal foe even though he had a wooden leg. The mix with historical characters like Hornigold, Vane, Rackham, Anne Bonney and Blackbeard is what makes this story so great imho.

2023-08-19 04:27:40 +0000 UTCSo I totally get what you mean that John is smart enough to maybe know that Billy's plan is to make him into a full on legend/king of pirates... but I really don't think John is aware of what Billy's up too? Like he and flint aren't even aware yet in that point of the episode that vane is dead. So for all they know Billy is still just trying to save vane. I think Billy is just sick of flints bullshit and sees how big of a risk it is basing everything on flint. And now I'm worried that flint and John are gonna start to be enemies because flint expected to be the new king and leader of Nassau I think and when they all show up with John being this legend of bad assery it could really effect their relationship and how they go forward. :/ I think they really set up how that conflict could go for the next season and I'm so excited!!!!!
