The Walking Dead: S10E11 Morning Star - First time watching!

i guys, when you started worldbeyond? after season 10? This should be perfect: ARRIVE AT 10x16, world beyond season 1, TWD 10x17-10x22, world beyond season 2, TWD 11, all this continuing with FEAR

Simone

*why the fuck would she have been as reckless trying to take alpha or the horde down if she already had someone on the task* Because she's desperate and impatient. Her step son was horrifically murdered and the murderer rubbed it in her face. She's now living rent free in Carol's head...hence the reckless decisions. Carol can be a badass but she's still human.

Sorry, I accidentally hit the send button or post whatever when I was trying to make a correction. I was saying seeing Alden so angry about Gamma being there annoyed me a little bit because he came there as a prisoner fromNegan's group. Granted he seemed nice the whole time but still he was a savior and he was the enemy. It just bugs me because he seems to have forgotten that. I'm not saying he should want to have her see the baby necessarily although I hope he will soften up a little bit because I actually like gamma. She seems sincere and she has definitely been through hell for sure. I guess I just feel really sorry for her

Excellent job Rob and Trin. I love watching y'all ( I'm a southern US girl .....an old one lol ) watch this. I have rewatched this series multiple times and no matter how many times I have seen this episode it still makes me anxious and feel almost nauseous while I'm watching it. The music is outstanding and such a buildup with all of the iconic scenes like the paintings of Herschel and Glenn and Henry Etc. It's like Carol was looking back at the people who helped make her who she is today. Daryl and Judith broke my heart and Daryl and the King.. just a perfect scene between the two of them. Also seeing Earl Step Up. It just moved me. I will say that seeing Aen be so mad about gamma/merry

Amy Fender

Its really heating up now no pun intended.

Fun fact non spoiler - the weapon daryl is using is a flail. A morning star is basically a spiked mace. The producers got their weapons mixed up.

Every time Rob said, "This is going to be epic!" I thought, "Do you know how much budget AMC gives this show? AMC is notoriously stingy." They did the best they could with the action here, I guess.

You should check out https://www.youtube.com/@BClaimed. He collects the score from all of TWD! Loving Bear McCreary and then his + Sam Ewing's compositions.

I've seen this episode numerous times and it was just watching it now that I understood the significance of Daryl standing at Glenn's grave. His actions in the line up got Glenn killed (I don't blame him, but had he not punched Negan, Glenn would still be alive, in theory. ) just like Carol's actions made Daryl lose Connie.

Christina Myers

When this episode aired I was pretty skeptical about how Negan got out & to me it didn’t make any sense for Carol to be the one that possibly did it b/c her actions since Negan escaped from Alexandria would’ve made even less sense. B/c if she had let him out for some deal, why the fuck would she have been as reckless trying to take alpha or the horde down if she already had someone on the task? Idk it just seems like she can’t possibly be the one because that would make her actions this season even more idiotic & poorly written. I fucking LOVE Bear McCreary’s music for this show. He has been a part of TWD for a VERY long time & NEVER disappoints!

This build up to the next episode is crazy the walking dead is so cinematic now it’s awesome

James

That music during the buildup to the battle is INCREDIBLE. Bear McCreary is crazy talented and I'll always be sad that he only ever released one official album for TWD.

The fury I felt when they cut the episode where they did was unreal 😂. Ever since getting a new show runner that’s one time in the field they have is the action stuff. They seem to not be able to continue it for longer periods of time similar to when we lost the prison (408) and then we had a big battle up with Walkers and Alexandria (608-609). Those were nearly full episode events, and they really seem to be struggling with all encompassing episode battle type things since season eight ended. I absolutely love the development of Eugene this season. I feel like he’s not getting the credit he deserves! He has grown SO MUCH since everyone in the group “lost” Rick. He has without a doubt grown the most 👏🏻. Seeing Daryl & Zeke patch things up was awesome too! I fucking love how badass Aaron is too!!!
