Children of men is such a an overlooked classic. Yet white chicks won over this smh

2023-08-01 19:08:10 +0000 UTCWhich is sad because this movie deserves some love. Some day maybe Someone will react to it!

2023-08-01 11:00:54 +0000 UTCTrin would be rather letting her side down if she hasn't already seen Amelie - but if she hasn't then I absolutely agree that I hope it's a wildcard pick although I'm not sure how well a foreign language film would work for a reaction ;)

2023-08-01 09:50:42 +0000 UTCNah, there's plenty of good movies between 2000 and 2010. Some of them have already been reacted to (like TLotR films, 28 Days Later, etc) and many of the others like In Bruges, The Prestige, Sunshine, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, etc. just don't get the votes or have presumably already been seen by R&T ;)

2023-08-01 09:39:02 +0000 UTCExcited for some of these, but seeing all the movie polls makes me realize how much stronger I think the 90's films were vs. the 00's

2023-08-01 05:57:57 +0000 UTCTeam America is horrible. Scott Pilgrim is definitely a scene kid movie and once you've seen it, you never need to see it again. You should try watching some of the movies that have made the polls. The Fall for instance. I don't know how old Rob and Trin are, but I'm 35. I grew up with most of the movies I see on the polls. I like less than half of the ones on there, and the ones I do like never win. You don't need to be passive aggressive about your tastes and 'the masses' winning.

2023-08-01 03:08:07 +0000 UTCNo one is ever going to see The Fall. Lol. It's such an obscure movie that hardly anyone knows about it or have seen it. I guess I'm just happy it made the poll. First time it's done that.

2023-08-01 03:03:49 +0000 UTCI wish Superbad was in this grouping, I feel like it would have had way more votes :(

2023-08-01 01:59:55 +0000 UTCI just hope megamind and Amelie are among some of the wildcard picks.

2023-08-01 01:33:23 +0000 UTCIt varies month to month. This month has been more my speed but not so much last month. It evens out. π

2023-07-31 19:22:27 +0000 UTCI agree. They should just do a poll for animated movies
Sarah
2023-07-31 19:06:34 +0000 UTCTbh, probably need a poll just for animated movies in the past 20 years or so, they are mostly amazing. Honestly the ones I'm looking forward to the most

2023-07-31 16:25:00 +0000 UTCYeah, I agree, the 2000s seems to be a much poorer field than the 90s/80s, although I really wish Rob and Trin would hit more 60s and 70s classics as well.

2023-07-31 15:36:46 +0000 UTCBedazzled deserves so much more love than it's getting.

2023-07-31 13:26:11 +0000 UTCThe votes in the finals are going to be crazy. So many different types of movies to be excited for.

2023-07-31 13:00:21 +0000 UTCOh that's true, I totally forgot about the TV show. It was really good! But the movie has nothing to do with it (still an amazing and so underrated movie, so many people have never heard of it). The story is good, and it's esthaetically incredible (the places, the costumes, all the cultures represented...).

2023-07-31 12:41:55 +0000 UTCNever heard of the movie "The Fall", but the TV show of the same name is a great watch! Donnie Darko is a great watch, and O Brother where art thou is a good laugh :D
Elle
2023-07-31 12:18:34 +0000 UTCTo be honest I didn't really get it, I kind of stayed out of it by the end without understanding for sure. But I wouldn't mind watching it again, especially with other people. Anything but stuff like White Chicks lol
ln_wanderbooks
2023-07-31 12:10:32 +0000 UTCChildren of Men is easily the best film on this list.
PhoenixReturns
2023-07-31 11:53:34 +0000 UTCSilent Hill, Donnie Darko and The fall are amazing movies, and barely touched by reactors sadly. I'm really not into comedies, especially because they're usually too "on the nose", with zero subtelty. The Hangover was cool though because of the story around it. But we all have different tastes :-)
ln_wanderbooks
2023-07-31 11:49:33 +0000 UTCIn bruges or Donnie Darko are my first choices.
