Have you guys watched the Fox X-Men movies? Evan Peters played Pietro/Quicksilver in that series. But he was played by Aaron Taylor-Johnson in the MCU. I don't think it's a spoiler. It added a bit of weirdness to it. Like this is Pietro but it's not her Pietro.

After this, Elizabeth Olsen and Rhea Seehorn (Kim Wexler from BCS) are most talented actresses for me (not just some beautiful faces in movie/tv-show).

2023-06-26 14:41:43 +0000 UTCThis was such a dark, but fun episode. You guys are figuring things out pretty quickly. Great observations, when Pietro mentions that it’s not like Vision can die twice. As we saw in Infinity War, he absolutely can die twice 😔 I love that we are starting to see more and more of how powerful Wanda can be. We are in the home stretch now, looking forward to next weekend, Fight Club and the finales to the Hobbit and WandaVision!!! You guys are awesome!!!

I do it all the time when watching new shows, and I can go off-the- deep-end, when I do it. lol. I love coming up with theories, and I love when reactors do too.

2023-06-26 03:50:55 +0000 UTCYou guys did eventually kinda figure it out, this IS taking place after Endgame! Wanda was snapped for the whole 5 years. Which is why she had no time to heal, one moment she had to watch the love of her life die twice and the next she's waking up and fighting Thanos in a world where everyone is back EXCEPT the one most important to her. And Evan Peters who plays Pietro/Quicksilver here, played Quicksilver in the X-Men movies (X-Men are Marvel characters, but the world is separate from the MCU, pretty much the same story behind Spider-man and Deadpool). So him replacing Aaron Taylor Johnson here is both a nod to the change made to the character and a nod to the fact that Disney owns Fox now so they can actually start incorporating bits of the X-Men universe into this one. Vision's slow realization and the way he's so determined to save everyone of Westview is so sad to me because it shows that Wanda resurrected him, but kept who he was inside the exact same because that's what she loved. Vision has always been pretty much Pure Good, so of course even a version of himself with no memories of his life before Westview or his existence as an Avenger would want to save all these innocent people and question Wanda even despite her control. In a way it's almost like Wanda created her own safety system in her illusion. I'm not an expert, but I'm pretty sure those Halloween costumes were in fact mostly comic book accurate lol Been loving rewatching WandaVision and I almost don't want us to be finished next week, but Falcon and The Winter Soldier is my favorite MCU show of Phase 4 so I can't wait!

Also, the reason they said 'kick-ass' twice during the episode was just a callback to the movie 'Kick-Ass' in which the actor of Pietro from Age of Ultron (Aaron Taylor Johnson), and the Pietro in the show (Evan Peters) were both in.
