2023-06-11 06:28:44 +0000 UTCSo I just rewatched this episode again on my own and I know the big cliffhanger was that rackham got the urca gold. And I think 2 things could come from that in the following season... the more likely scenario is that vain and flint go after jack for the gold. I feel like they are leaning into that option but I could absolutely see jack joining up with flint and vain especially given how jack and vane(sp?) are together. They have this kind of bond like brothers... I'm so anxious next week to see what happens next!!!! It is kind nice to not binge a show all at once like I usually do, i get the appeal now to what rob and trin are doing!! Hahaha. And have a discussion with what's going on in this episode and what's to come!!! Ohhh and I do think max will end up being a big problem and screw over jack and everyone else. I think she's building her network to basically take over every pirate crew and be in charge.

2023-06-10 21:56:41 +0000 UTCI liked Miranda until she made Pastor sin with her on the veranda, and then I liked her again once she started becoming an active partner in the re-civilization scheme alongside Flint. I love her now, after several rewatches of the show. I liked Eleanor up until she sent men to kill off Captain Jack and crew. I enjoyed Max at first, sympathized with her situation, and started liking her once she left her room at the brothel and bossed up. (I always loved Idelle, then on my first-ever viewing and now years later lol.)

2023-06-10 07:10:06 +0000 UTCMy husband and I watched the last kingdom together a few years ago around season 2 or 3 was airing. It was superb writing in my eyes. It reminds me alot of this series because I agree with Rob and Trin when they say that story lines don't really drag on outside of the urca gold finally being taken. I introduced this show to my husband the week R&T started this and after the 2nd episode we watched right after the 1st I decided to watch it alongside r&t and my husband Banged it out in a couple weeks on his own. He said it was phenomenal. He said the episode we just watched was his favorite episode of the series but it was still amazing through out the rest of the series. He agrees with my opinion( so far) that TLK was just such incredible acting and storylines. I want it to beat tlk because I wanna find a show I enjoy as much as I did then.

Black Sails is my #1 all-time, especially bc I love time pieces and more specifically, love the pirate theme. Genuine question: Since you’re watching alongside R+T, do you think you’d give Black Sails a genuine chance at taking the #1 spot from LK for you? I’d of course love to ask again at the finale of the series too

This is my favorite series of all time so seeing how much you dissect each character, episode, and are intrigued with the future episodes is awesome to watch❤️

I’ve watched nearly every other reaction channel who’s done Black Sails. I subbed to this patreon only to watch an MCU reaction I didn’t want to wait for and was ready to cancel afterwards but came across the post that you’d be reacting to Black Sails exclusively on Patreon so I HAD to stay. … Fridays are now my favorite days. Lol.

I just know from what I've discussed with my co workers about how much they dislike her these first 2 seasons. And I totally get why... so far she is very selfish and wishy washy. She flips on her friends as soon as it suits her ambitions. I'm very curious as so what she's referring too now. Hahaha. Can't wait to watch the rest of this series!!!!
