Bugfix 0.87

Today I checked the problem one of the patrons wrote about, that in the new update nothing is showing up in the stepmother's bedroom, and I was wondering what could be the culprit since I checked everything to make sure it was working before I released the update. It turned out that it works when the player plays on the old save, and doesn't work when they start the game over. I corrected this minor error and well, that's that. I overwrote the file I had been working on since Saturday. The entire storyline and 13 quests for the main character's new step-aunt were lost. More than 60,000 characters of code were lost. I didn't have system restore enabled and no program I downloaded to restore files knows how to deal with this problem. It looks like my work was in vain. If anyone knows how to help me I would be extremely grateful.

Good news. It only took me 4 hours and I'm in the same place as yesterday. Recreating something comes out much faster than inventing it. So don't worry, it's fine.

2023-06-01 08:33:52 +0000 UTCUnfortunately, it doesn't work that way. I was already working on version 0.88, then it dawned on me to check version 0.87 for bugs. I found the error, added a line of code and saved it in place of this 0.88. I just went back several days and several hours with the whole project. I think I tried everything and it looks like I have to swallow the bitter pill. I'm going to learn how to do backups for various situations like this one where simply through fatigue and distraction such unpleasant things happen to me. I just hope that I will be able to do everything I have planned by next Friday. It's a sad thing when many hours of work go to waste, but it's worth learning a lesson from such situations.

Can you can you restore it from a previous version of the game the one without the bug fix I’m pretty sure not Everybody has downloaded the bug fix yet so if somebody hasn’t download the bug fixed, could they just give you that version and it would have the code that you wrote or it does it not work that way?
