2023-05-21 22:06:12 +0000 UTCI understand the frustration of season 8 only covering a few days. It rarely works in my opinion. I think TWD did it better than one show I watched but yes season 9 is a breath of fresh air. I liked 8 but you can definitely tell this season is different.

2023-05-21 10:51:17 +0000 UTCI really enjoy your reactions and discussions rob and Trin on TWD, and FTWD...I like that you always seem to find good to say and about every season....and also, I don't know if anyone mentioned this to you, but, because of Covid, instead of having 12 seasons, TWD only had 11 seasons, BUT...season 10 was extended to 22 episodes and Season 11 was extended to 24 episodes, so we still got about the same amount as 12 seasons......cheers ~

And although I never got the impression he was a good fighter, in those, I know that Rick doesn't have a good record of kicking ass. Daryl, tho, that was fo'real. lol Daryl said it himself, Rick isn't listening to any of them. He has a plan for Negan, and nothing anyone says to him is making any kind of difference, I guess. That's why Daryl seems angry. And we already know why Maggie is.

Daryl and Rick really need to talk seriously man to man and come to an understanding. I hate it when they are at odds with each other. Maggie is still upset, because Negan is still breathing and her husband isn't, and I agree with her. I didn't like Enid at first, but she has grown so much, and I like her as a doctor. She did a great job on Aaron's arm.

The saviors still need our group to survive with supplies from the Hiltop/Alexandria so it was a reach for me because our group was helping them with nothing in return until they needed people for the bridge.

When you said he is an upgrade from Ed I definitely cheered alongside you both. I would've lost it if Aaron died so I'm so glad he survived his arm amputation! Also when Jesus told Michonne that she's not always right I chuckled because she is the character with the best judgement of the series in my opinion. I also loved the Michonne and Maggie scenes as well, it's clear that even though they both don't totally understand each other's decisions, there's still a ton of respect and family between them. And lastly, I agree, Negan sitting in a cell is worst than death and he deserves it for the rape and brutal murders he committed honestly. Let him rot, death would've been an easy out.

I love Vane, but my first introduction to Zach McGowan he was a sex addict, always naked gettin it on, and dumb as a rock. lol I see him getting owned in the face by Rick or Daryl. But every other character he portrays would prolly eat Rick and Daryl lol. I love him in everything he's been in. He has been in 4 of my top 10 favorite shows. Def a tree I'd climb. Repeatedly

2023-05-18 00:03:26 +0000 UTCI think the best part about these later seasons from earlier ones is the opportunity to connect from past events. 9x01 had Daryl reminiscing about the Prison group, Carl even did so in his letter to Rick. I think adding nostalgia into the mix is what gives just a hint more satisfaction for the long journey TWD has been on so far!
