yep! I cried every single episode mentioning carl name, how many is that now? 6 times? This is the most entertaining fight that rick has ever been in. They really going all out with these negan and rick fights scenes, the other fight scenes that rick had was trash compared to these recent ones. I wonder what's going on with the king, we didn't see him in this episode at all. It's sad to see rick Is hurting inside while fighting with negan this time despite being epic.

Rick went full on serial killer on negan chasing him like a video game villain. And of course negan carrying with the one liners just straight up saying “I’m a goddamn cat”

2023-04-26 09:15:54 +0000 UTCYeah, the biggest issue with S8 is it’s just episode after episode of wheel spinning. You know nothing is going to pay off until the finale, so it all just feels like a lot of huffing and puffing. I remember being so frustrated with this season (and 7) when it aired. However, being able to binge both seasons makes a HUGE difference. It’s far more enjoyable. I wish they’d taken that into account when making it though. The show suffered massively as a result. People tuned out in their millions.

People that were watching S8 as it was airing were starting to get frustrated waiting for plot-points to continue week-to-week. An intense episode can be enjoyable, sure, but if it does little to advance the story forward, it feels like a waste to have waited 6 days for it. And now knowing you'll have to wait 6 more in order to get the next episode makes it worse. Makes for a very frustrating viewing experience. I think people were just getting sick of it, and were voting with their reviews.
