2023-09-07 00:44:36 +0000 UTCDaryl telling everyone in hilltop about carl, was heart wrenching. It didn't even cross my mind at the time that nobody from hilltop even know what went down with Carl. Carl's death gone have a lasting effect in the walking dead, at the time of this episode I said "Is walking dead ever going to get over with Carl's death?" And "is they gone keep mentioning carl each episode?" because everytime I get reminded of carl a wave of emotion came over me and I just break down crying. I was scared for eugene for a second, I didn't think Gabe would be able to lie to negan lol successfully. I thought negan will see through gabe's deception/bullshit.

You both always find the best things in every episode even if it´s not the best, that´s why you are my favorite reactors EVER!

She was manipulated initially, but realised very early on that she wanted nothing to do with it. She didn't ''switch sides''. She didn't even use one bullet. She was already on Rick's side before that war started. Same can't be said for Dwight.

2023-04-25 06:30:13 +0000 UTCI’m odd I never call an episode filler , especially since we learned some things throughout , like Dwight learned Laura wasn’t at the sanctuary and how negan comes up with the walker blood scheme . Tara finally sees Dwight as really on their side . The cabin that Gabe and doc Carson found has a complex radio system . There’s more but you get what I’m saying .

2023-04-25 06:28:49 +0000 UTCI don't think there is any real issue with how Tara is acting. I think it just comes off as grating due to how this season is structured. I genuinely think it's purely down to how little screen time they've given her. She hasn't had a decent arc this season. So her ''upset'' comes off as annoying, or petty, especially when we know the depth of everything else happening in the show. She falls to the sidelines a bit, and it feels shallow. I just don't think she's written very well here. It also feels like she's a dog with a bone, but this is also likely due to the fact that so little time has passed this season. I don't understand why they didn't give her a better arc with Oceanside this season. There was already something to work with there. Aaron could have asked her to join him, or she could have already been there. That, or her connection to Maggie (and Glenn) should have kept her at Hilltop. It's just a shame when it feels like certain characters aren't being handled as well as they could.

Relationships happen 5x faster in a ZA than the real world, you know that. If you’re so worried about people’s lives in danger then maybe being a giant suck up for Negan, a literal slave master that only sees people as “a resource” and not actual lives, isn’t the right move. If I ever saw you make a comment purely critical about Negan’s actions and the sick, narcissist, dictator that he is, than I’d probably not be on your case like this as much. But all you do is complain about other characters, the good guys, while constantly making excuses and giving Negan the benefit of the doubt.

2023-04-25 01:11:58 +0000 UTCI cannot stand how they handled Carl’s death in this episode at the end just putting music over it and giving less than two minutes to show Maggie who he has so much bonded trauma with over their time together not even really react to the situation. I really think that Scott Gimple just couldn’t really handle making good complex emotional scenes and so he just decided to throw music over it and focus on the action instead 🙄

That is not enough time and they did not build up their connection or bonding nearly enough for her to be justified in being this pissed off and putting this many peoples lives in futures in danger.
