much the main show talking dead was good for first several season then not so much

DJ KO

Thought about suggesting it but it’s hard to watch . Not a lot of people react to it for that reason.

Kamanda Hickey

I just love how you both truly enjoy and pay such close attention to the show :) thank you for these

This is when we’re introduced to probably the strangest storyline in the whole show. Regarding how people stopped watching after the first episode this season, some of it had to do with fans’ die hard love for Glenn (& Abraham, poor guy gets overshadowed a lot with Glenn dying as well). But fans were also frustrated by the pacing and how our group kept enduring loss after loss with no happy or hopeful end in sight. This isn’t spoiling anything because I’m referring to the season’s content up until this episode, but fans were also frustrated by the behavior of our group, like Daryl, Carl, and especially Rosita, who’s been written pretty horribly this season lol. I still lover her and have her in my top 3 favorite characters, alongside Sasha & Aaron, but a lot of questionable writing decisions at this point in the show turned a lot of fans off for good. I even gave up on it for a while but got back into it. It’s 11 seasons long, so the frustration won’t be lasting that much longer lol. I wonder if Rob and Trin would enjoy watching some or any of the Talking Dead show. Even some miscellaneous clips with cast members talking about their characters and the show is really fun to see, at least for me. It’s not something worth formally reacting to but I imagine that any fan of the show would enjoy watching the cast talk more about it when their not in character and being their real selves. Anyways, love your reaction and commentary as always!

Gregory is a huge piece of shit but he's also frickin hilarious 🤣

Kimberly Wilmoth

I agree. They did some characters bad, and I feel like that's the reason 7 & 8 has a bad rep, and not just because Glenn & Abe. It's still one of my favorite shows, tho. Forever.

angie808

Wondering if you guys thought of watching Handmaids Tales?

Carrie Sickler

Fun fact about Henry: he is played by Macsen Lintz, the brother of Madison Lintz, who played carols daughter Sofia.

I think they write it a lot better in later seasons with characters, but I always wished they would've delved more into the mental health aspect of living in a world like this. No one would have any meds lol

k4rizz4

I love him so much lol

The writers have a pretty difficult time portraying characters in grief without them being reckless and their judgement being clouded by rage. Nearly every character’s gone through it but they really overdo it this season and play into the feisty Latina stereotype. This behavior lasts for as long as the characters are grieving and at least for Rosita it doesn’t last longer than this one season so the dislike only needs to be temporary.

"Jesus wasn't joking." lol A quotable phrase, for sure. That smile of Rick at the end, drove people crazy for a week. This is the time when I started to really dislike Rosita. I still thought she was very capable, and bad-ass, but she started to really annoy me with the way she treated everyone - Eugene, Sasha, Ezekiel & others. And I love Daryl, but the way he spoke to Zeke, I'm sorry - NO!

Most emotional moment in all 11 seasons of TWD for me. Negans beautiful eulogy for Fat Joseph RIP big man ❤

Michael Harrop

Love the rock in the road story. What a powerful message.

Shelley

Completely off topic but I just realised that Jesus' actor Tom Payne played Brett in waterloo road (a UK TV show from our youth) and I'm completely shook 😳

Shelley

When Rick smiles you know something is going to go down

James

If an apocalypse breaks out I'm going to the Cook islands

Kim Magee

Oh my god I love this episode I love tomorrow's too

Kim Magee

Oh, Rob you mentioned that the highway where the explosives reminded you of the same highway T-Dog ripped his arm up on that car door in season 2? Guess what, it’s the same highway lol. They reused the location to film, despite the fact that season 2 had its in Atlanta and the other in Virginia.

Handsome_Man

I loved to hate both Negan and Simon....lol

Dorinda Schaper

Which is nice because it doesn’t seem like Rob and Trin are feeling any less about this series! Season 7 they were told early on was to be a dip in quality right? But they’re still evermore invested! Rightfully so too!

Handsome_Man

The Walking Dead Groups Are Alexandria, Hilltop, The Kingdom, Oceanside, The Saviors, And The New Group At The End Who You Will Meet Later, We Also Had Vatos Group, Woodbury, Terminus, The Claimers, The Wolves And The Hospital Group That Are Extinct. Im Sure These Are Some Of Hundreds Of Groups That Exist Because Remember The Whole World Is Infected Not Just North America, Not Sure Aboit Anartica Though But It Wouldn't Matter Because No One Really Lives On Anartica.

Anthony Tucceri

I think seasons 7 and 8 are really better binged. I'm a super-fan of TWD and I can only watch these 2 seasons with Rob and Trin, other than that I skip over them and know all the other seasons word for word

Lolapie

Simon is my bitch just like Rick

Rico Soprano

For the people who did stop watching they were never really fans

Rico Soprano

All these years later and I still can't decide if I find the highway scene to be super cheesy or incredibly badass. Maybe a bit of both 😂 And Rick smiling like a madman at the end is so funny to me, like Rick I know you see potential allies but can't you see the situation you're in ? 😭 Love this episode !

roncelune

I think you guys are so analytical and you pick up on everything... seriously I started taking notes during your episodes of how much you guys predict for the future accurately and when you guys explain why someone maybe doing something in the series... it's amazing. That's why you are enjoying this season so much when other people really didn't. You guys are just picking up every little detail that you can. Like when one of you guys guess something wrong the other one suggests the right answer and vice versa. Haha

Angelina Sargent

I Loved The Walking Dead, Though People Stop Watching And I Never Gave Up Through The Ups And Downs Like From Season 7 To Season 11 Episode 24
