"I don't know why this is happening.." should be the tagline for the entire second season. Meh storylines. Meh new characters. Just Meh in general. Season three feels like such a breath of fresh air after this. The entire season feels like the writers were just making stuff up without knowing where any of the storylines were going. It gets a LOT more focused, like TWD, in the new season.

2023-02-16 14:54:14 +0000 UTCYes. "Disjointed." I could never put my finger (or a word) to it. But, disjointed is right. I think the difference between TWD & FTWD is that TWD focused only on our group for a whole season and the second season a small group on the farm. It gave us time to get to know the characters deeply, without too much outside influence. FTWD is spreading itself very thin from the beginning. Still a good show.

Obviously, as you say Maddie has no idea if the gang were actually talking about Nick and in reality it’s a long shot so what she is doing is dangerous!! I love that we are seeing more of a backstory to Ofelia because all we have seen so far is the backstory of her parents. From her point of view I do understand, she’s alone she has no one close to her anymore whilst everyone else around her had family or friends so whilst it was stupid to leave out of nowhere you could tell she felt lost. Loving the reactions once again! I love FTWD, not as much as TWD but it gives us another aspect, new people, new families and a new place right from the beginning that shows us how other people are dealing with the apocalypse, I feel that people don’t connect with this show as well because you have such deep connections with the OG crew (Rick, Carl, Michonne and Daryl etc) but this is early days!! This show gets more and more interesting as the episodes roll on and the new characters that enter, I feel are incredibly interesting! Please keep watching!!
