The point of a PPD, which was given to Jimmy is to give a way out for offenders who are unlikely to commit a crime again. For that, it is quite natural to expect Jimmy to show remorse, there was nothing out of the ordinary with her questioning

If you'd like to quickly refresh your memory you can take a quick glance at Breaking Bad: episode 4x08 flashback (Gus meets them by the pool for the first time). Episode 4x10 (showdown at Don Eladio's). They are quite important characters in terms of the Mike/Gus storyline.
