2023-01-10 17:21:56 +0000 UTCOwen (i don’t think he was named in the show but he was on talking dead or by the actor after) was presumably the leader of the Wolves along with that other blond haired Wolf that Morgan spared possibly. They are a lesson for the older Alexandrians on how it is now and it lets us see how capable our core group is at dealing with human/walker threats at this point. I wish we got a bit more of the Wolves group’s backstory or philosophy so we could better understand them but honestly they are just people who have embraced a kill anything mentality similar to Morgan when he lost it. They were sane enough to work together of course, and as we see with Owen, they can change and be better at times but for the most part, they were maniacs. I think that’s the point really. These were once normal, sane people drove to dark impulses living on the bleeding edge of survival like a wild animal, like a wolf. I can’t wait for you guys to see the next few threats in the show!

Plus, his best buddy is Daryl so of course they would want to go on at least some runs together. They talked about another run the folllowing day and you can tell by their interaction in the car they go on runs together a lot. I liked the buddy episode. This has always been one of my favorites because I love that friendship. Not to mention that the Rick and Michonne rumors and fan fiction had a build up to these two getting together for several seasons.

2022-12-31 05:16:27 +0000 UTCIt’s fascinating how, over the course of this season, Rick and Daryl have changed views on bringing new people in. It makes sense though. Rick finally sees what the Alexandrians are capable of, meanwhile Daryl encountered nothing but dirtbags when he was out with Sasha and Abraham, so he no longer wants to risk bringing people in.

2022-12-28 12:05:32 +0000 UTCOne of my favorite episodes of the show. It's such a needed lighthearted episode after the last one. There's a YouTube video where they set the Jesus/Rick/Daryl chase seen to one of those comedy run around songs and it's hilarious. Plus of course the ending.
