Actually not to contradict the man himself but maybe didn't get what you were asking, I gave Rob the option with the pros and cons of each of watching Plan after ep 15 or at the end, and he said he wanted to have some final BSG after the show to revisit the characters one last time, and also not to kill the momentum of the final season, and decided he preferred to leave The Plan till after.
