It’s still not my favorite thread in this show, but damn if they didn’t do a good job fleshing out his “breaking bad” journey. You can make an argument that he left those guys live because of confidence or sending a message, but the show hints a lot to the fact that this Mike doesn’t want to kill. Back from when he came to Albuquerque and turned down all the “next-level pay” jobs the vet threw at him, and more recently going as far as he did on the Tuco job to not pull the trigger as Nacho put it. And after Matty’s death, which one could say was caused by Mike’s corruption, I bet you the last thing he wants is to go back on that path again. But unfortunately, good causes keep pulling him back, be it providing for his family, helping Nacho out of the corner he got himself into, even joining in on Jimmy’s schemes. Anyways, love the reaction, excited for you guys to see the rest of the season.
