My first and only patreon sub to see this episode in full :D
You guys are the best reactors, both very clever, educated and talkative in a good way - in contrast with 99% of the market just doing AW SHEEIT and/or poker face and not understanding a thing. It's like re-watching a show with friends. Thank you!

the real world impact ruled that out for me strait away. the boat coming to the island etc. Also if they were dead all along then Michael died twice?

I have tried my best to understand the people that think "wait they were dead all along?", but then people like Rob come along who understood the show without much trouble and my sympathy for those folks dies. Anyone that believes they were dead all along need to explain 1 crucial truth. If they were dead why in the hell would any of them be at Jack's funeral, he would never have met any of them.

The end is the most questionnable side of the show ... Some people disliked it, some others liked it, some were so angry, some other were so sad ... I feel it as a strange way to end a show, many questions stayed unanswered, and I have the feeling of a kind of rush to give the maximum of answers whether they are good or not, like if there was a fire in the studio ... But I hoped seeing again Mr Echo, Yemi, Ana Lucia, ... with the other characters in the church, but they weren't there at all ... I am wondering why we did not see them ... And why Ben did not enter to join the other characters ?

I can't believe you called the afterlife long before it was revealed. I didn't figure it out until "how are you here?" and it hit me like a ton of bricks. And yes I cried again watching this about the 16th time lol, never fails. Outstanding reaction, this rewatch journey with y'all was amazing. Thank you very much

Exactly. Locke and Ben are two sides of the same coin. They even were both born premature, to a woman named Emily.

Guys I started watching a half hour ago and I’ve only made it to the 2 minute mark because I keep getting emotional and rewinding. You both are awesome

I cried so much again. I can't believe it's over. Thank you so much for sharing your Lost journey with us. I loved it all so much. I will stay subscribed to both youtube and Patreon and I hope that one day you will watch Dark. Thoroughly enjoyed the Terry O'Quinn cameo, it is no secret that Locke is my favourite character on Lost; so that was very special to see. Much love Rob and Trin. See you in another show. xxxx

My mindset on why Locke forgave ben, is that he can relate to going to extremes to wanting to feel special

I completely agree. I feel like it just wouldn’t be the same. I think some series or movies don’t need to have sequels/spin-offs/remakes, and Lost is one of them.

A spinoff would crack LOST. The only spinoff I'd watch would be something about the times before Knotty Mommy Hair.
And even then, all the mistery and the "what was all this all about" would be gone.
I honestly think LOST is better as it is: A pearl for connoisseurs and Losties that watched it at the time.
Any spinoff would taint and never be up to the original.
IMHO.

Yeah, I've been trying to tell them about those videos.
Actually there's 2 Comicon videos that are a must watch, had sent the links to Trin, hopefully they watch them after the Epilogue, they won't regret it ;)

I just love that Vincent literally didn’t let Jack “die alone”. He should have been with our losties in the flash sideways. ❤️
By the way, there are some very funny short videos of Jacob and Man in Black by Entertainment Weekly. The actors are hilarious. I think you would really enjoy them. You guys should watch them after the epilogue.

Thanks to both of you, MVP award to Trin, I know how hard it was to keep quiet the whole time! I'm sure you already know that's they made a short Epilogue, released after the show ended: LOST Series Epilogue: The New Man In Charge: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yY5vV7bp5z8

I realized that only after several watches. We're so used to hear him call him Doc.

I really love the ending of Lost. ❤️ To this day, I still don’t get how people can’t comprehend what the flash sideways are. I mean Christian Shephard literally spells everything out. I do remember that, back in the day, some people got confused by the crashed plane footage during the end credits, and they interpreted the sideways world and Christian’s explanations as “they were dead the whole time”. LOL
And Rob, if I remember correctly, when we first saw Jack on the plane in the flash sideways, you made a comment about him not looking like he did when he was on the original flight. (He looked much more exhausted now and his hairstyle was different than that of season 1.) You mentioned that Lost should have paid more attention to small details like that. And I was like, “oh you have no idea. just wait for it.” lol 😏 Because at first, when we see him on the plane again, we all think that the bomb worked and they got back in time. But in reality, the sideways were happening after everything on the island. So, it actually made sense that he looked different, and that’s just so cool. It showed that they were still paying attention to details. We just didn’t know what was happening yet. 😉

I have lots of favourite scenes in that finale !
One that doesn't get talked about enough is when Locke remembers. I love everything about this scene. That smile when he looks at Jack. The music when he says "I hope somebody does for you what you just did for me". Aaaah, the feels !
I really like the goodbye scene on the cliff. The feels start when Sawyer and Jack shake hands. Jack calls him James. And "Thank you, Doc. For everything". Love this ! I like the look on Hurley's face when Jack just says "Ok". You can see he's wondering why Jack doesn't insist more. And Kate and Jack's goodbye is really emotional and beautifully acted. Not cheesy at all, you really feel for them. I also love that it doesn't cut to Sawyer, whereas it was written in the script. Good job from Jack Bender like always.
The fight between Jack and MIB is epic. Fun fact that everybody probably already knows : Matthew Fox almost died during that scene. "In the preparation for the knife scene, it was decided that the collapsible knife looked too fake, and that they would film the stabbing up to the penetration moment with a dulled real knife before swapping. Initially they couldn't find a protective vest that looked real, and it took a stunt coordinator's insistence for them to let Fox wear one, as even collapsible knives hurt. Unfortunately, the knives ended up being swapped, and O'Quinn stabbed his co-star with the real knife, which was only stopped by the protective stab vest that he very nearly didn't even wear. And in a chilling final revelation, none of the other types of protection they considered would've saved him." Jorge Garcia talks about this in his podcast. Apparenlty, Terry was very shocked by this.
I love all the scenes at the end. When Jack makes Hurley the protector. When Locke talks to Ben outside the church. All the church scene is amazing. From the moment Jack enters in the church until the very end. The use of music, or lack of music is on point. When Kate gets closer to Jack to make him remember, the music stops completely, you can actually hear her footsteps on the grass. And when Jack circles around the coffin. I find it makes the scenes really intimate. You almost feel like an intruder.
Now, my little theories :
For me, the reason Jack is able to stay alive enough time to be able to put the cork back is because his appendix was removed in S4. This means the island made him sick so he can save the island later. This is why, in Lighthouse in the sideways, they show us his stabbed wound, but he thinks it's an appendix scar. It shows it's in the same place. And it's a nice parallel to Locke, in S4, when Ben shot him and he says "I would probably be dead if I still had a kidney there".
I think Jack, just like Juliet, experiences the sideways while he is dying. The montage is done to show the parallels between the island and the church. Jack falls to the floor at the same time he sits on the bench. Then Kate takes his left hand and they intertwined fingers. On the island, Jack put his right hand on his left hand on his wound.
And now, if you want a little more of Lost, here are some awesome videos I found on YouTube. Would be great if you react to some.

That moment when jack and sawyer run into each other at the hospital before he sees juliet...the reason sawyer looked so confused after talking to Jack was because he realized he gave Jack a nickname out of no where. He literally saw Jack in a suit and knew to call him doc and it weirded him out when he said it.

I've seen many LOST Reactors.... both of you, Rob and Trin, were the absolute best of them all. There more times I've seen The End, the more emotional I get! Thank you for the wonderful journey!
Now you have to watch it all over again.
