Just a few details you might enjoy knowing. The dragon Vhagar is referred to as a she-dragon. She was the mount of Aegon the Conqueror’s sister-wife Visenya. Later she was rode by the father of Viserys and Daemon. Laena was her next rider. We are told that the dragons do not take another rider unless their current rider dies. People are wondering how that is going to play out in the case of Laenor not been actually dead, as he is the rider of the dragon Seasmoke. This is a bit of a change from the source material, where the situation regarding Laenor’s death is vague. And Seasmoke eventually gains a new rider. Since you made a comment about Daemon and Rhaenyra not being brother and sister, I thought I would share that Viserys and Damon‘s parents were brother and sister. As were their grandparents. In the case of Viserys and his first wife Aemma, they were first cousins. Aemma’s mother was a sibling of Viserys and Daemon’s parents. There are plenty of cases throughout the 300 year reign of this dynasty when Targaryens married into other houses. But in these first few generations it was pretty rare. Rhaenyra’s mother’s father was from House Arryn of the Vale.

2022-10-10 23:28:35 +0000 UTCI find it a bit odd so many people see the fight between aemond and the other kids and come to the conclusion that aemond is the one who attacked rhaenyra kids and would've killed them, when we clearly saw HE was the one who got attacked and then ganged up on. he picks up a rock and that's all he has against 4 kids and a knife.
