When the man in room 9 kept asking Norma if she was sure she wasn't closer to Shelby, I really thought he was going to produce a sex tape that disgusting Shelby made secretly. Also, the actor who plays Emma's dad played Prof Quirrel in the first Harry Potter film.

Masterful reaction. I never planned to watch Bates Motel, even though several reactors on YouTube that I subscribe to were watching it. Mainly because as a 5 year old boy, a babysitter made me watch The Alfred Hitchcock show, which mainly showed his short stories, but they also played Psyco and The Birds among other of his movies. The 1 hour short stories were usually mild, but even back in 1975, before Cablevision, his horror movies were actually scary, especially at age 5. So I guess I grew an aversion to all slasher related shows. I figured Bates Motel was going to be a slasher show as I figured Norman had to learn to kill from somewhere. Now I laugh at myself as I watch The Walking Dead and it's spin off shows, and even made it through Game of Thrones and now House of the Dragon. Bates Motel is almost a dark drama and comedy rolled into one show. All of the secrets etc everyone knows about each other and everyone turning a blind eye to the nefarious goings-on in this town Crack me up. The way Norma side steps the school to get private counseling for Norman and then speaking for Norman at the session killed me. As a Registered Nurse who had to do Psychiatric Nursing ins nursing school, knows that if a parent or guardian kept interrupting the session, they would be ask to stop and if they didn't they would be asked to leave. If anything concerning came up, as long as the child was considered a minor, the parent would be let in on the information if they thought the patient was a danger to themselves or others. Lizzy and Mika from The Walking Dead were an excellent example of this as the "look at the flowers" was a coping mechanism her parents used when Lizzy would act out, but the apocalypse pushed her over the edge. How the man in room number 9 killed and stuffed the body and move it to the house and up to Norma's room without getting caught especially if all of this was done in 1 day. I find that hard to believe. Well great job! Take care, cheers, bye guys!

Was reluctant to say this before but now that I see you both are feeling the same, I really grew to like the character of Norma at this point or even before. Such a strong woman doing what she thinks is best. I really put her up ther with Jack from Lost as a character I really love.

Rob mixing up Dylan and Bradley's names always makes me chuckle. (You guys watch so many shows... it's a lot to keep straight.) Just remember... the brothers' names both end in '-an'... Dylan and Norman.
