My soul feels crushed every time I hear Saul’s ‘not all of them’ and see Starbuck looking so bereft while everyone else celebrates. And no matter how many times I see Galactica perform The Adama Manoeuvre I always get full body chills. Fantastic episode and great reaction, thanks Rob!

2022-09-24 02:09:14 +0000 UTCThis is by far my favorite show of all of the ones I'm a fan of. There is just something so special, visceral but passionate about it that it just keeps drawing me back. I have watched it over about 5 times now, 6 if you include me joining for these reactions. And honestly? The emotions still hit me, I swear I still break at certain scenes. Like losing Pegasus still hits me. Something that you should know that with the game Battlestar Galactica Deadlock, there have been some 'simulations' of how in the perfect scenario, Galactica and Pegasus together from the beginning of the battle would in fact have won the battle and both battlestars would have survived the battle. If Lee hadn't hesitated, we might not have lost Pegasus. I HATE Ellen as a character beyond belief, but Saul's emotion, especially at the end still breaks me. Keep them coming, really love these reactions and seeing how much you're loving the show. And all I'll say is that you still have a lot of stuff coming, and tissues WILL be required, lol.

What an amazing episode and story arc New Caprica is. Not hard to imagine the scars of this whole era will remain long afterward. Sharon was right last season before going back to Caprica on the rescue mission: "I have this feeling, something dark is coming. Not anything to so with the mission, not any particular thing... it's more like... a dark time"
