I think he is brought back into the story with a good purpose and I like the way he will be utilized. Just wish they'd given him a bigger scar or some larger disability after meeting that Demo ;)

I literally didn't even remember most of what happened this episode on my 2nd rewatch of season 4. you guys should definitely think about doing Dollhouse since you watched firefly. Holy cow is that a good series and they completed it in 2 seasons. Joss whedon is so good at writing tv shows.

I don't have much to add, but I did see that the writers did an interview September 12th, they were saying season 5 should come out late 2023 or sometime in 2024. My money is on Spring 2024 around May when summer break for school hits. So they can launch the summer season with a bang. If it's 2023, I would think October for Halloween time. They can't wait too long as the actors are getting up in age. Joe Keery (Steve) is 30 years old. All be it he looks good at 30. Just my thoughts. Again great job. Every day I eagerly await to get a notification that Rob and Trin released a reaction!

2022-09-23 07:14:12 +0000 UTCI feel like Sam (Dr. Owens) wouldn't team up with Brenner if it wasn't such a necessary evil. If the fate of everything didn't hang in the balance. Brenner's the only one who can immerse El in the memories that are blocking her. Personally, I actually prefer El with a shaved head. She seems more badass, more Eleven-y, that way. Especially connecting now-Eleven with then-Eleven. (Though Millie Bobby Brown did not shave her head this time. They're using a skull cap wig. The advancement of that technique is really impressive.)

2022-09-23 03:34:06 +0000 UTCSo, just because you guys seemed to be a bit confused by the ending scene: Brenner says to Eleven, "You didn't think it would be that easy, did you?", meaning that what they've done so far is not enough for her to get her powers back; they've only just begun. The moment with her throwing the guards off her with her powers was just a brief moment where she was able to bring them to the surface. And that moment showed Eleven that what she's doing here with Brenner IS actually working and has the potential to bring her powers back in full, so she goes back with him. Also, in the episode that everyone just loves to hate on (the one with Eight), we were told by the former employee of Hawkins Lab that Brenner was still alive. And yet no one seems to remember that.....lol
