I think Gina - Pegasus Six - wanted to feel close to somebody at the end. Precisely because she was so traumatised and harmed in this way, I think she really wanted to have sex consensually. It does not change her trauma, it doesn't make that not have happened, it doesn't repair anything. What it is, is something that SHE asked for. I respect Baltar for - as far as we know - not pushing things after he kissed her against her will and she bit hm. He apologised straight away, and as far as we know, didn't push after that. He waited to be asked. Rape survivors shouldn't be seen as less attractive because they were raped, that's weird.

Standing in front of the President telling her about the election, mostly not moving anything other than his mouth and micro-expressions in his face. He still manages to give us the unemotional and neutral report of a fleet admiral reporting something really REALLY bad to his leader. The fact that he is so calm is a testament to just how bad he believes this is. Then surprise and shock, sadness, major disappointment, empathy. Almost without moving. He's right, she would have died inside.

The s2 finale really is peak television. Love Galen Marx's union speech. Also, gonna have to strongly disagree that there was "nothing to surrender to" lol. Roslin definitely should have stolen the election. Better to lose your soul and break the law than have thousands die. Character ranking: 1) Baltar 2) Bill Adama 3) Roslin 4) Tigh Not a coincidence those are also the 4 best actors on the show.
