One of the rare little bits that always bothers me is... why wouldn't Kate have just told Claire, at any point between Sundown and here, that Aaron is with Claire's mother. I would think that would've calmed the situation greatly, from the get-go. But obviously they wanted to really emphasize crazy Claire for Flocke's 'I had a crazy mother, too' chat.

In S1, Boone goes to the Sydney police station as a brother... seeking help for Shannon... and James is brought thru, past him, to a detective. Here, Liam goes to the police station as a brother... looking for Charlie... and James walks thru as a detective. Nice touches.

2022-09-07 07:13:35 +0000 UTCI think this is the first time I've realized that Detective Ford coming home to his dark, single guy apartment at the end of a long day and heating up a microwave meal and drinking a beer is meant to be a contrast to what Jim LaFleur got to come home to after a long day: Fresh veggies and Dharma merlot. And also Juliet. The set up is even similar to his Dharma house. Straume and Ford, LAPD. Would watch.

2022-09-07 04:25:32 +0000 UTCI love the reveal of Sawyer as a cop in the flash sideways, and the buddy dynamic with Miles mirroring their time in the 70s with Dharma is *chef's kiss* Very excited for the back half of the season, things are going to start really taking shape for you soon (both of you, from the sound of it; I love that Trin doesn't remember a lot of the details and is revisiting for practically the first time!), vs the "I'm along for the ride!" vibe that the first half really brings to the table.
