I absolutely agree with your thoughts on the island of being an island of unfinished business...
Kate is learning how to stay in one place
Hugo is learning to live with whether or not he's cursed or even blessed...
Jack is learning to let go and balance that with being a leader.
Sawyer is learning how to be a leader or a person to follow
Michael is learning how to be a father to the child he gave up.
Claire is learning how to be a mother to the Child she wasn't gonna keep.
Locke is learning how to have real faith.
Eko is dealing with the fact he got his brother killed.
Ana Lucia is learning to trust again
Charlie is learning how to not be am addict when he has the chance to do drugs.
Sun is learning how to be open with her husband and Jin is learning how to give sun independence...
It's actually brilliant.

So the island is located somewhere in the South Pacific, which makes it at least 18 000km away from Nigeria. That’s on the complete opposite side of the globe, over double the max distance commercial flights are able to fly. So how the hell did that small Beachcraft which probably has a max range of 2-3000km end up here?

What you said at the end.. that they're all working things out. You described healing! ♡ They're all broken. And Sawyer... he wants to be loved. He's just uncomfortable with it. Such self-loathing.

Eko protected his brother from the very beginning, though, unlike Charlie's brother.

The "brother" connection with Eko and Charlie is, as I see it, that while Charlie is the "good brother" who was led astray by his worldly older brother, Eko is the worldly older brother who led his younger brother astray. Not in the same way, no, but he did create the circumstances that eventually led to Yemi's death.

This episode blew my mind when I first saw it; the connection with Mr Eko to the plane was just mind boggling stuff. Great discussion again; love to hear your thoughts and theories. Wishing you both a Merry Christmas, hope Santa brings you what you wish for :) Cheers.
