LOST: S2E06 Abandoned - First time watching!

For the most part it enhances my experience watching it, I am very self aware i could be mocked etc for making stupid guesses or missing something obvious. I try to always focus on the positive and constructive feedback about it all but yeah I really wish I had done this with Game of Thrones because the discussions and all that make it fun for me :) The whole Kate topic can be a hot potato I have found but otherwise (so far) it has been good fun!

Odd question - is it weird having discussions (comments) with people who are clearly big fans of the show and who have seen it and often know it inside out? I've often wondered this, and what it must be like from a reactors POV. It's a very unique interaction and position to be in. Must be an odd experience to only have interaction with people who love the show, despite there being plenty who don't enjoy it out there. Curious if you think this has any affect on your viewing experience? Previous reactors have had to deal with overly passionate and sometimes arrogant fans who are particularly narrow minded about certain aspects of this series.

You were so stunned, I backed up and rewatched the last bit. Poor Shannon got totally screwed out of her inheritance. Lost will break your heart and f*ck your mind. Then it'll put it all back together. :D But that look on Ana's face! Pitiful.

This episode gets me every time. Such a surprisingly great character centric. I'm glad you're more inclined to want Shannon to survive, plenty of first time viewers could take or leave her. Whereas longterm fans of the show tend to like her more on rewatches - glad you share this mindset already. Loving these reactions.

can probably tell this one upset me, seeing Shannon get shot upset me quite a bit and I was lost for words :( even now am not sure what to think because it is heartbreaking that she might be dead. Urgh Sayid's face!! :((

This one is quite hard to talk about without insinuating what may come with shannon's fate, but I'll say I enjoyed this one! I'll also say that Walt apparition was saying 'ssssh' and using the universal language for 'ssshh' with his finger on his mouth. And then Shannon immediately started shouting and running into the jungle, so I wouldn't blame Walt apparition too much :D
