"I say you cheat!" Boris tossed his cards on the table while scowling at DJ, his fellow gang member sitting on the other side of the poker table, whose arms were sweeping all the chips on the table greedily to himself.

"And I say you got fucked in the arse by your pop's wooden leg last night," CJ replied.

The table tumbled over – sprawling chips and cards and bottles of liquor all over the floor – when Boris, in a fit of rage, threw it to the side.

"Hey! Watch the booze!" a voice called out.

"Now you've done it, CJ," Another voice said as a seething Boris dashed over to CJ, ready to deck him.

The ceiling cracked open before he could. A beam of sunlight poured in, illuminating the squinted eyes of at least eight mobsters gaping skywards in consternation.

"Goooooood morning, gentlemen! Are we having all a lovely day here?!" An awfully familiar voice echoed gleefully from above.

A figure flashed down through the hole in the ceiling, landing with a heavy tremor in the middle of the room, creating a puff of swirling dust.

"Mackenzie," One of the mobsters brought out when the dust cleared up, revealing a cute blond girl with a sinister smile that looked like the Queen bitch of some cheesy teen movie.

"That's what they used to call me, yes." Mackenzie playfully flaunts her hair." Nowadays, it's mostly your majesty or just Goddess."

BANG!

A bullet pinged harmlessly against Mackenzie's forehead.

"Ah, yes! Getting right to business now, are we? That's what I always liked about you guys." Mackenzie postured herself in a wide stance while placing her hands on her hips, displaying a smirk that begged for more bullets. And more bullets is what Mackenzie got.

The same guy firing the first shot began emptying his magazine on the body of the hottest teen girl on the planet – reverberating ear-piercing bangs between four walls of the cramped room.

Several of his cronies followed suit. One of them took it up a notch and began spraying Mackenzie's hot yet invulnerable body with a barrage of lead fired from an AK-47.

The only thing these thugs achieved with their blunt display of lethal violence was broadening Mackenzie's stunning smile.

"Stop it, you idiots! The girl's bulletproof, for Christ's sake!" The smart one of the bunch blurted out, waving his arms.

It took some time before his message pierced through the thick, witless skulls of the other thugs.

The firing ceased, with the sound of casings clattering on the floor before it became silent.

"What is it you want?" The one named Rob, aka Razorblade, said.

Mackenzie eyed the guy, cocking a brow as if she was waiting for something.

"…Goddess," Rob added with great reluctance.

Mackenzie smiled. "Good boy! Okay, let me get right off the bat with you guys. I'm desperate for a reputation boost. So I'm going to throw you all in jail. And I'm going to do it in a way that the whole country can see it on public television. Now, listen carefully. There's a camera crew waiting for us at the back and –"

"Throwing us in jail?" Rob chortled. "On what charges? We're as sweet as a pixie stix!"

"Yes, I know. Surprisingly, you guys are, which is boring if you ask me. But you see, here is the thing. The city doesn't like you. I don't like you. You're all assholes and people would love to see you end up behind bars rather yesterday than tomorrow. And I'll be the one who's going to arrange that."

Rob snorted. "And why on earth would we participate in something like that?"

"Simple. Because if you don't, I'm just going to do this."

Suddenly, one of the thugs pointed the barrel of his gun – which was still aimed at Violet – at the head of one of his cronies.

BANG!

"The fuck Boris! It was just a game!" Rob screamed out as CJ's body slumped over, forming a puddle of blood on the floor.

"But I… didn't do anything... I mean..." Boris stammered while looking at his gun with bulged eyes as if it had a life of its own.

Mackenzie chortled loudly. Rob eyed her, and he came to a conclusion. "Did you do that?"

Mackenzie shrugged. "I don't know. But are you actually stroking Boris's cock, right now? At a time like this?"

Then Rob felt something warm clutched in his clenched fist. He looked at his hand and saw in dismay that his fingers were indeed wrapped around a thick, warm wiener. He was giving Boris a wank off. And the latter seemed to like it. The other thugs watched it all with wide, shocked faces.

"The hell, man!" Boris and Rob blurted out simultaneously when the realization of this act started to sink in.

Mackenzie chuckled. "Well now, can I count on your full cooperation, or do I need to turn this gathering into a shameless orgy?

"We'll cooperate!" All thugs said at the same time.

Mackenzie grinned, pleased with herself. "Excellent. Now listen carefully, dipsticks. Because I want this thing to run precisely as I envisioned it. First, I need you all to –"

Behind Mackenzie, the thugs saw a crack forming in midair as if the very fabric of the universe itself was ripped open, pouring in blindingly white light. Its edges pulled themselves over Mackenzie, like a big hungry mouth devouring the super-powered teen. And she was gone.

It was the fifth day in a row that the wrecked streets of one of Europe's greatest cities were flared up with the roaring of cannons and whizzing of bullets. Hundreds of soldiers teemed about through buildings with no windows, backed up by dozens of armored vehicles and tanks trudging along to carry out the very thing they've been ordered to do – capture this city at all cost.

The city became a theatre of war when two global powerhouses came face to face with each other.

All signs pointed that this would be one bloody, dragging war that could last for months. Then something shot down from the skies, annihilating a small group of tanks as it meteor-landed right in the middle of them – cracking open a vast crater.

"I cannot recall giving you thralls permission to fight with one another!" Violet said indignantly as she rose higher to get a better view of the warzone. She eyed every soldier like a reprimanding mom. "Why do you not just live in peace in my freshly established utopian and only fight when I tell you to?"

"SPEAK!" Her super-powered voice added when none of these frightened soldiers started to say something. Powerful soundwaves vibrated through the air, colliding with a ten-story high apartment building across the streets, rattling its walls. A snooping sniper fell off the building's roof, rocked over its edge by Violet's unnatural forceful voice.

"My dearest apologies for letting your celestial ears listen to my voice, your holiness," Violet cocked her head while looking down upon a brave soldier walking up to her. He knelt while looking at the ground as he spoke to her. "but these infidels claim that you've once been one of us while we believe you have always been a Goddess."

Violet could not contain her laughter. "Is that while you're fighting? How cute. Your enemies are right, though. I once was a vulnerable puny mortal like you."

The soldier and his brothers-in-arms all gasped with shock after hearing such a startling revelation about their Goddess.

"However," Violet added. "I have always been destined to become something great. Something like a Deity. A given fact that was already determined even before my birth. So I believe that makes your contention that I have always been one valid as well."

That seemed to console the soldier and his comrades.

"You know what, guys? Instead of fighting with each other, why not work together to build the greatest statue the world has ever seen, all in my honor, the Goddess of both of your countries."

Violet noticed that the soldiers from both sides were glaring at each other with contempt, obviously disliking the prospect of working together. Their feelings of hatred towards one another sat lodged too deep.

Violet could only devise one solution to solve an issue like that.

Her eyes began glowing painfully bright red. "How about I just blast some of your cities to oblivion then, mmm?"

"We'll cooperate!" Several soldiers from both parties stepped up, shivering from the prospect of seeing their loved ones falling prey to Violet's wrath. "Anything you wish, Goddess." They sank and started bowing down, parking their foreheads on the ground.

Violet smiled, satisfied that her act of persuasion had been successful. "Get to work then!" she snapped. "You've already wasted enough of my time. In fact," she checked the time. "you've wasted exactly 12 minutes of it. That still requires a few sacrifices, I believe."

With a sardonic smile, Violet raised her hand and pointed her index finger, ready to unleash energies of destruction.

Fortunately for the petrified soldiers, it didn't come that far. For the moment, Violet wanted to destroy a few buildings; she was gobbled up by the universe itself, leaving no trace of her existence.
