Chapter 110: Cooperation
Added 2024-06-01 16:05:18 +0000 UTC"I think I just heard something quite interesting!" A stranger's voice suddenly echoed through the hall, and a figure emerged from the bright, spacious chamber.
"Who are you, daring to intrude into the Galactic Patrol headquarters!" The patrol officers guarding the hall noticed the disturbance and shouted in alarm, quickly gathering to shield the Galactic King.
"A human!"
Seeing the figure clearly, Jaco exclaimed, then shook his head, "Impossible, humans don't have such high battle power!"
Jaco's eyes were exceptionally sharp, rarely missing anything, but he had no idea how this person had appeared before them.
"No, he's not human. If I'm not mistaken, he's a Saiyan!" The Galactic King stared with his large eyes, his tentacles twitching in the air.
"He's a Saiyan? But he looks just like a human. Galactic King, don't Saiyans have tails?"
Jaco realized the truth and tapped his hand, understanding that Saiyans looked like this. He whispered to the Galactic King, "Aren't Saiyans supposed to be vicious and evil? I don't sense any evil from him."
"I don't know," the Galactic King replied.
"You’re talking about the Saiyans from Planet Vegeta. I am the leader of the Saiyans from Red Mountain Planet in the East Galaxy. Today, I'm here to discuss a deal with you." Xavier's tone was calm, lacking the arrogance usually associated with Saiyans.
Frowning, the Galactic King waved off the guards, "What do you want to discuss?"
Xavier approached and casually sat on Jaco's small spacecraft. "We Saiyans love battle, not mindless destruction. So I think we have much to discuss, such as defending planets and combating space pirates…"
"How can I trust you?"
"You don't need to trust us. The Galactic Patrol can't handle the Saiyans anyway. Why not let bygones be bygones and allow the Saiyans to take on tasks like other powerful beings in the galaxy? It would benefit both sides!"
Xavier's tone carried an undeniable firmness. With his power, he feared no organization.
The Galactic King frowned deeply, considering the proposal. Forming an alliance with the Saiyans wouldn't weaken the Galactic Patrol; it was a mutually beneficial strategy.
"Alright, but Saiyans must wear the Galactic Patrol insignia on their battle suits."
Xavier shook his head, "That's not possible. Saiyans are an independent race, not subordinates of the Galactic Patrol!"
When they had joined Frieza's forces, all Saiyans wore the Frieza Force battle suits. However, since Xavier established the Saiyans on Red Mountain Planet, their new battle suits no longer bore Frieza's mark, and they would certainly not bear the Galactic Patrol's insignia now.
"Not having the insignia is fine, but Saiyans must not harm innocent lives while on missions. Otherwise, the cooperation ends!" The Galactic King pondered for a moment before conceding.
"Agreed. I'll have our tech personnel establish contact with the Galactic Patrol. By the way, our primary area of activity is in the East Galaxy, so only assign us missions related to that region. We won't accept tasks from other areas."
With that, Xavier's body vanished from the hall, leaving the patrol members staring at each other in disbelief.
After a while, they finally reacted.
"Galactic King, are we really going to cooperate with the Saiyans? What if this is a trick?" some voiced their concerns.
"The Saiyans have a notorious reputation in the galaxy. I can't believe they would contribute to galactic peace."
"But if the Saiyans can stop causing trouble, our work would be much easier. It's surprising they weren't all wiped out with Planet Vegeta..." Given the Saiyans' strength, the Galactic Patrol had no effective control measures.
At that moment, a defense squad of five fighters, each with a power level over 10,000, arrived after receiving the Galactic Patrol's message.
"Where's the Saiyan?" a gruff voice shouted.
"Mr. Ditongjia, the Saiyan has already left..." a patrol member quietly informed him.
Ditongjia laughed heartily, "That Saiyan monkey must have heard I was coming and ran away in fear!"
"Uh, because the Saiyan made an agreement with us..." The patrol member explained the agreement between the Galactic Patrol and the Saiyans. As a witness, he still found the whole situation unbelievable.
"What! That worthless race has the nerve to negotiate? I could take them down with one punch!" Ditongjia sneered.
His companions shook their heads, their disdain for the Saiyans evident. Even during the height of the Saiyan's power, they didn't think much of them, let alone the few survivors left after Planet Vegeta's destruction.
To them, the Saiyans were just homeless savages. How could they call themselves a warrior race?
"Hey, Galactic King, when the organization contacts the Saiyans, give us their address. I want to see what they have left."
"Alright!"
The Galactic King agreed readily, waving his tentacles dismissively. Though Ditongjia and his group were rough and brutish, their cooperation with the Galactic Patrol had always been good. If they wanted to trouble the Saiyans, so be it.
…
Returning to Red Mountain Planet, Xavier didn't go straight home but instead wandered through the streets.
Around the city's leisure area, there were numerous arenas of various sizes, places for Saiyans to compete and spar. Of course, these arenas had many restrictions; otherwise, with the raw power of Saiyans, no arena could withstand their attacks.
At that moment, two Saiyans were battling fiercely on one of the arenas, their punches and kicks sending waves of force, eliciting cheers from the spectators.
"Heh heh, ever since we came to Red Mountain Planet, I've felt a lot freer. Look at how lively the martial arts atmosphere is now!" A Saiyan in the crowd grinned, using the trendy term "martial arts" that had become very popular recently.
"Yeah, in just over a year, my power level has skyrocketed, increasing by several thousand. Watching my power level rise bit by bit is incredibly satisfying."
"Lord Xavier is much stronger than King Vegeta. To have such power at such a young age... do you think Lord Xavier could be the legendary Super Saiyan?" One Saiyan speculated.
"Yeah, that's right! Lord Xavier and Lady Celine are both so powerful; they must be Super Saiyans!" said another, clearly a devoted fan of Xavier and Celine.
"Improving our power is great, but staying cooped up here on Red Mountain Planet feels stifling. My bones are getting stiff. When can we go out on missions?" Another Saiyan lamented.
This sentiment quickly resonated with the surrounding crowd, with many nodding in agreement. They hadn't had a good fight in two years and deeply missed the thrill of unrestricted battle.
Not far away, hearing their complaints, Xavier smiled faintly and thought to himself, "The days when you can fight to your heart's content are coming soon."
