Also, Miguel cheated at the first AV because he couldn’t beat Robby using only skill. So this is bs writing that everyone suddenly forgot it and is treating his “win” as legit. Whatever Miguel was trying to say to Robby - that was a selfish way of going about it.

He was just explaining what he’s fighting for, Robby got all upset because he’s been in 2nd place for awhile, and ofc always behind Miguel. It’s just another case of the writers trying to create drama, im sorry but these 5 episodes are genuinely buns (this episode is the best of the 5) apart from cool scenes.

2025-05-13 23:54:26 +0000 UTCThe showrunners are to blame - they said Robby would've gone to her apartment and found it empty - but what about her brother? What about the funeral? How much time passed since that day till Barcelona? They did it for "shock" value at the end there, when everyone already knew she would be in CK. As for Johnny/Robby - completely agree. The Miguel obsessed fanbase didn't allow for that unfortunately, so instead they forced the Johnny/Carmen relationship and kid to further point that Johnny is now Miguel's "dad" and completely sidelined the Robby/Johnny actual development on screen. It's absurd. And on top of that they sidelined the Robby/Daniel relationship. Robby has infinite potential as a character because of who he is, Miguel not so much, so they have to keep taking from Robby to make Miguel look good, and it sucks. Peyton List is amazing.

A lot of people say this is the best season but it's lacking in writing in certain areas for me personally. like you mean to tell me that tory's mom died and neither her boyfriend or anyone else tried to check on her or anything, they just went about their day like everything was fine 🤨 I don't blame Cameron for forgetting that Johnny is Robby's dad either he's always prioritizing another kid over him and it shows. Like they could have focused more on building their bond more this season but instead they added the pregnancy storyline in and have Johnny trying to be a better father for him and carmen's daughter when she arrives, when he's not even a good father to robby. since we all know that Miguel & Johnny have a better bond I'd be a little more open to letting robby & johnny's relationship be whatever it is, but hell they took the only father son bond that robby had with Daniel and just threw it to the side and never touched on it again. like the writing for certain things is inconsistent and I hate it. sn: ya'll should definitely watch school spirits for the storyline & peyton's acting once y'all finish cobra kai, it's amazing.

And then either they gave Tory a punching bag to take her anger out on or one of the senseis went with her and she sparred with them since they're more experienced. And once she got her anger out and calmed down they talked to her about everything and actually show her some support

Just immediately replaces her with Hawk and go on to karate business as usual? Yeah..they're all trash for that. Daniel/Johnny can go on a road trip to find Robby when he goes on the run, Johnny and Robby can go across the border to MEXICO for a rescue mission to find a wandering Miguel, but no one can go to Tory's apartment to make sure she's ok?!??!?

2025-05-13 08:57:55 +0000 UTCTory going back to Kreese is understandable. We the audience know Kreese is shady af but to Tory he's like a surrogate father/uncle. Kreese has helped Tory a lot and has always been in her corner/advocated for her so after losing the one parent she has, it would make sense that she reverts back and goes to the person who is the closest thing to a parental figure to her. Johnny would've been a great sensei to turn to since he can relate to Tory the most imo but while they have a good relationship, Johnny and Tory do not have the bond that Kreese and Tory have. Tory to Kreese is what Miguel is to Johnny or Robby to Daniel.
