2023-03-24 22:37:13 +0000 UTCthe writers initially said that kie was always supposed to be with pope and that jj was gonna be with cleo but, since the fans wanted jiara they decided to go that route instead. as far as jiara goes I can see how they went in that direction regardless of the fans because jj and kie do have more chemistry than kie and pope. however I do think that jj and cleo would have been really cute even though I love her and pope together

2023-03-23 13:23:34 +0000 UTCI think a big part of the reason fans loved JJ and Kie from the very beginning is because Maddie and Rudy just have undeniable chemistry together on screen (this is not me shipping them). If you look at all the scenes with Kie and John B or Kie and Pope and compare them to her scenes with JJ it’s so obvious that there’s way more chemistry and tension. I definitely would’ve loved even more if JJ and Kie had more of a build up but i’m also not mad with how their storyline is playing out, I think it’ll all come together very nicely in the end.
