As for the black/white, I'm currently using materials as colours for everything instead of textures. Converting everything to a single material with a colour-atlas 'might' be an option in the far future, but I feel the flexibility of having interchangable materials is pretty valuable. So for blending stuff one could aready make a new material/shader and apply that in engine.

2020-10-01 14:34:15 +0000 UTCsorry If I'm bugging you. One last idea for terrain tiles. Since you use two tone colors for your tiles, how about a single texture that's black and white. This way people can use that as a Mask to blend two custom colors when they use it in a game engine. Thats what I was thinking of doing myself with your set to save on having extra texture files.

2020-10-01 14:28:02 +0000 UTCoh, speaking of RTS. Maybe instead of just square tiles you can start to introduce hexagon tiles. Lot of games are designed with that sort of shape in mind. So a nice set of terrain hexagons / squares might go a long way.
