But as you said, her being jealous and wanting them to be bad wasnโt in line with the friendships lessons she gave starswirl. So great representation of โdo as I say not as I doโ from her. Because the โnot giving up when you know youโre rightโ I donโt was the best message but flim and flam bring up great layered problems

2024-10-24 01:48:06 +0000 UTCAgreed this is a complicated one, cause flim and flam are always the characters who come back with a new scam, twilight shouldnโt have accused them before having the evidence to back up her claims cause thatโs just looks like she doesnโt wanna trust them, it does seem selfish like she just whatโs her school to be the only one where friendship is taught, itโs weird because itโs like telling starswirl you shouldnโt trust ponies lol even after he started giving ponies a chance and being more empathetic towards ponies, but starswirl was right to give them the benefit of the doubt because thatโs what twilight and starlight had taught him to do in the season 7 finale lol but again flim and flam are sorta joke characters I guess and they donโt really regret or change, so I understand the mixed feelings about this episode and twilight possibly being in the wrong with accusing flim and flam without proving it.

2024-10-24 01:43:25 +0000 UTCWell Twilight had all the reasons not to trust Flim and Flam and suspect them at scamming, because they never apologised or showed any regret for their actions. One really big thing Twilight was wrong at is her jealousy that blinded her and didn't let even consider that Flim and Flam may have changed, even though at the start of the episode she hadn't any real evidence of their crime. Flim and Flam indeed scammed people, but Twilight shouldn't be so rude and selfish when she was trying to expose them. Not giving up at doing something you think is right is good, but you shouldn't cross the line at the process as well. First of all you have to watch YOUR behaviour in order not to do something regretful.
