Arknights FES + Ambience Synesthesia report!

early may I went to shanghoh god, its JULY?!

Well more than a Shanghai report it's mostly an Arknights fes report! Even though it's late, I'm trying to keep doing blogs so I can gather and relook at memories and turn them into something tangible ⸜(｡˃ ᵕ ˂ )⸝

This time I am going to make the report public and see how I feel about doing that in the future!

Naixue Collaboration

I got to visit two Shanghai stores while the Arknights collaboration was on, so here are mixed pictures of both! the decorated windows are huge!!!

They were all yummy Naixue signature drinks but I think Mlynar's drink was the most delicious to me! You get goods for buying a certain amount of drinks! And there were cute paper/ takeaway bags!!! And i love the cup design that I washed them and i took them home...

It still kind of unreal to think about this, I don't really know how to surmise it, just very grateful I got the opportunity to draw for it!

Arknights Festival

Arknights fes in Shanghai is more like a full on themepark over the top with all the exhibits, games and props!!!

When you play the games, you get seals! (I got to see a mizuki cosplayer play DDR in the Kazimierz's section!! thank you cosplayer!!!) There were so many this yearl!!

There's this section where all the Kazimierz characters are together but behind that there this wall away from it where people were resting Mlynar was just... THERE....... I don't know if it was intentional, why is he alone😂... we have a lost uncle....

In the Leithanien section theres just this guy hired to playing the piano nonstop from day start to day end ...he job is literally a prop... incredible

My favourite section is probably the Siesta section!! so cute and pink!! There was real smoke coming out of the volcano! Was so happy to see an official summer GG cosplay too!

Naixue collaboration is here too! I want to take home a vending machine!!!!

One of my favourite places was honestly the skland feature fan displays!! waaaaeeee everyone makes such beautiful things!!!

There were SOOO many mizuki and goldenglow cosplays!!!! Actually a lot of them in maid costumes, but since I was going to the events undercover I could only take photos secretly hahah 👀 There was a Mizuki and GG shairing meat buns, Mizuki pulling tired GG in a cart, there was a mizuki and gg trying to catch a taxi together..... So wholesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The following wasn't at the event, but some of the displays at station. I wanna take them home!

Ambience Synesthesia

This is a separate live concert event! Though photos and recordings of the actual concert are banned, I'll share some photos of the OK sections!

The venue is HUGEEEE! Around the entrance there's life sized standees of all the featured characters!

I think the official public recording will be uploaded soon so i'll update it here when it's out. But the atmostphere, elaborate props, dancing, costumes, art... everything is so good at the concerts ToT

but there is this one bit in the lonetrail section where there was a crowd countdown from ten and THEY LAUNCHED A ROCKET INTO THE SKY!!!!!!???????? I still think about where that rocket is to this day...

During my time there I got to greet and meet many people! Especially thank you to fellow illustrators in Shanghai! Everyone is a hard worker and a good person, if it's just a little I want to keep supporting them!

I got Chuzenji-sensei to pull Viviana in my account since her banner was active! She was so lucky!! I got 2 virtuosa, my first rosmontis and finally vivi at pull 90!! So strong!! 😆
