Some of these episodes are even better than I remember. That "sir" got me choked up.

Tomáš Polák

This isn't one of my faves, but it's still fairly good. The whole altered memories thing is a fairly common scifi trope. I do like the resolution though. SG1 isn't inciting a rebellion, or overthrowing the government, or killing corrupt officials, they're just forcing a bunch of lazy bureaucrats to work for a change. Also not sure if this is the first time off hand, but O'Neill makes a lot of references to The Simpsons over the course of the show.

Indeed, and I really liked that, IMO it is more in-depth than this episode, IIRC it's a two-parter though.

There is a Star Trek Voyager episode with the exact same plot. Episode called workforce

well there is one that's pretty garbage

Smaller gun does mean better technology. The smaller it is, the stronger the material has to be to handle the initial explosion. Since that tiny gun shot out an enforced window WAAY up there, it has a good range and penetration power.

Scarlett Monrow

I agree, the way they handle this romance is... mature. It's how serious adults would act: not to deny feelings, but prioritize goals.

Scarlett Monrow

I really like the way they handle Jack and Sam. Too often in shows the romance becomes the main focus of the people involved with it, but here we have two people who love what they do and continue to put saving the galaxy before their feelings for each other.

I personally LOVE this episode, not only because of the sam/jack shippy moments (which are always my favourite ngl), but because of how the storyline developed, the "our memories have been altered" trope doesn't always work but I think they handled it very nicely here!

I always disliked watching this ep on re-watch, it's one I skip over, cause I really don't like seeing our team not knowing who they are and being duped like this. However, the realization is good. Overall th is ep doesn't lead to much, it's just a filler IMO. However, the next string of episodes from here to the end of the Season are all A+ you are in for a good ride my friend.

Fun fact, those red guns are sawed off and re-painted NES Zappers. It is literally, the duck hunt gun.
