This one can be read as both platonic as well as romantic if you squint. I was going to write it in a more comedic tone, but then it ended up becoming a sweet moment where D reassures the Crown about some of their insecurities, and now here we are!
You can read this as taking place sometime early in the Crown's reign during a moment where things are a bit calmer and no immediate crisis situation is taking place lol. Poor Crown.
