The Final (hopefully) Pay Pause

Hey everyone

So it's happening (or not happening) again. I was able to do some more this month but we're now in Halloween video prep territory without an upload since March (holy shit) so I still don't want to be collecting anything until that's out. I really appreciate all the outreach and offers of "please take my money anyways" etc but it's extremely important to me I don't do that to the point it'd probably be more detrimental to my brain if I was getting income here without any give back. Not doing that is a huge core of how the page was started and while I do really appreciate and understand the sentiment, it borders too close to some territories that make me uncomfortable even if it's not the smartest move in the world. Besides if I was deadset on getting "maximum return" for videos I probably would've littered the channel with sponsors for mobile games, pubic trimmers, and VPNs long ago but I think I would exhaust every other avenue on the planet before entering that world.

I definitely didn't plan a nearly half year upload gap now, but that's kind of a theme of surprise things that have gone on. The good news is I think things are -finally- stabilizing out to where September should have me back in the routine, and weirdly enough a lot of the videos I was plugging away at are more October themed anyways, I just didn't expect them to actually be in October. It does feel a bit shitty since I was hoping to sprinkle more adventure games throughout the year, but it looks like that'll have to be over the cold season instead. The skeleton of a video has existed since almost last October now, so it's thankfully not starting from scratch there.

The Patreon changes page will still be coming once at least the first upload is out since again I don't want to get too distracted from workflow one that space is set, plus there's a few things I'm still trying to iron out.

And yes I know the 8th game of that BanBan nightmare is out, I'm moving some things around to try to be able to stream it tomorrow sometime starting between 6-8ish EST tomorrow, but we'll see how things go. I realize I've been relatively absent outside of some group projects for a long time now, so I was really hoping I'd have some uploads out before doing any kind of stream so people don't think I've become another of the fallen "YouTuber discovers how much better streaming is", so that's a double reason not to charge for this period.

Things should be back to normal soon. The amount of outreach has been overwhelming and very appreciated, and I'm sorry that I've still been slow on responses since there's an even larger amount of inbox pings than usual. Thanks so much, I really mean it.
