Delay Notice
Added 2025-04-30 00:20:01 +0000 UTCOkay, so...I messed up a bit. I allotted the 'normal' amount of days for coding/writing this month as I have been for the last year or so. That proved to be a fairly large error, as the coding took an extra day to due to the complexity of getting the New Game+ cheat to work so that you lot don't have to play through all four primary routes just to unlock it (given you've likely played them all already!).
Worse, I badly underestimated how much extra writing time I was going to need due to the vote earlier this month favoring the 'larger number of scenes but fewer animations' option. This choice means a lot more of the story is carried in the text, and has slowed progress on the writing badly. Usually I only need around 2 days to write all the new scenes, then a third to do an editing pass. This time, it's looking more like 4 days just for the writing and another for the editing pass.
As a result of this there will be a delay in the release. Not a huge one (I always work my ass off to avoid that), but at least a single day, and possibly as many as three. My best guess is that the game will release sometime on the 2nd. So, a two day delay. But if I get lucky on the testing side it might be out on the 1st, while if I get unlucky at that step it could be as late as the third. Still hardly a disastrously long delay, but a significant one by my standards. As always, I'll do my best to minimize it.
Sorry folks! This one is a teething issue, as I failed to anticipate just how much more time I needed to give myself for writing with the different mixture I'm using for the Harem Route.
