I definitely recommend going through Gunbuster and Diebuster next after TTGL series and Duology Movies (Gurren-hen and Lagann-hen). The movies are a must imo as they actually put in the effort to reanimate completely new scenes for the end of the first and last half. The TV series ending is already insane but they somehow managed to exceed that and made it even more hype in the movies, also adds some more context to the TV end that we don't get to see.
