Allstars: The Waxening is Happening
Added 2022-10-20 17:56:34 +0000 UTCNOTE: There was some confusion as to weather these secondaries were for Nephilim style or Tempest. We are aiming for tempest of war style secondaries. If you wrote it for Nephilim style secondaries, no worries We will adjust as needed to make them work for Tempest!
Hey that Rhymes.
We come to it at last. Time to prepare for the last episode of all stars for the year.
Not sure what All stars is? Its a special, fully edited 40k in 40 where we showcase off some fan favourites on the channel, but more importantly give an opportunity for our producer tier to be creative and come up with ideas for our upcoming game! Last episode saw the producer tier come up with crazy ideas for the WHEEL OF THE WARP. Great fun.
Now to hand it over to Steve!

40k ALL STARS Christmas Cookies
Space Marine Steve here spreading some season’s greetings and announcing the next 40k ALL STARS game! The grim, dark universe is getting tasty this year with yet another Xenos menace threatening the North Pole! Michael and his Necrons are making a festive appearance this Christmas and chasing down the North Pole’s cookie supply (cue the gasp), I know… I was shocked also… well, there is only one thing that Santa and his Angels of Death can do about it… purge for the holidays.
The Wager
Michael and I have some skin in the game this time around… er… some ‘hair’ in the game, actually. Based on the success of the comments section of the last 40k ALL STARS game, Michael and I are playing for a holiday waxing! The loser of this game will be getting waxed for the holidays.
The Game
The game will be played at the North Pole! There will be six objectives (Christmas Cookies) that players will be able to eat using actions providing additional points. HOWEVER… there are a few things that we need from all of you! Today, you are going to be creating for Michael and I a set of festive secondaries for us to choose from and in just a few more days you are going to be creating some custom rules for our wintery battlefield!

Creating Secondaries:
- In the comments section below, write a secondary objective for Space Wolves and a secondary objective for Necrons. Please write these secondaries with game play, fairness, and fun in mind.
- The secondaries could be Space Wolf themed, Necron themed, or Christmas themed. Any of those options are acceptable and encouraged.
- Think about what a player will need to accomplish in order to score points. Most points are scored in warhammer by doing one of three things: stand somewhere, do something (actions), or destroy someone.
- These are intended to be used Tempest of war style, with both sides drawing random ones at the beginning of each player turn.
Examples:
- Festive Glow: Whenever a Necron model is returned to the battlefield via Reanimation Protocols add one mark to a tally. Whenever a model with three or more wounds is returned to the battlefield via Reanimation Protocols, add two marks to the tally instead. At the end of the game, gain 2 Victory Points for each 5 marks on your tally.
- The North Pole: One Space Wolves Infantry unit from your army may perform an action if it is within 6” of the center of the battle field. This action is performed at the end of your movement phase and is completed at the end of your turn. Each time this action is completed, score 3 Victory Points.
We are excited to see what you come up with! Space Marine Steve, signing off!
