Thank you everyone here on Patreon. With you we continue our quest to be the best content creators for tabletop gaming in the world. You are all important members of this journey and we wanted to share with you our process so you can better understand how you are helping us. We will also be going over the new Tiers in this post as well.

How serious are we at creating entertaining content that inspires action? We are very serious! So much so that we have invested so much of ourselves into this mission.

Our Warhammer 40K in 40m introduced the world to a very different type of battle report and we don't even like calling them reports anymore.

What does it really take to make a 40k in 40m?

40k in 40m, like many of our shows, is not something that can be done without serious effort and serious time.

After our first season we had to make a choice. What would we need to do to keep this going? In order to do these shows on a regular basis we had to become a studio, a real studio. Wow.

A big part that everyone here plays is to keep our lights on. Between YouTube and Patreon you help us pay editors, have a studio, and continue to make content.

Where does your support go?

As you can see we cannot do this without Patreon and subscribers / members/ patrons.

Right now, we get compensated somewhat and still apply a lot of volunteer hours and aim to change this to a more sustainable model in the near future.

Which brings us to the new Tiers.

Fees and Costs are increasing and we are no longer able to offer the $2 Early Access tier.

We are keeping the Supporter Tier and Producer Tier as-is. Anyone with Early Access now keeps it for as long as they don't cancel, stop, or upgrade. Your access remains the same.

We are introducing two new tiers that are for anyone that really wants to help support the channel.

• Special Character tier - you get to name a model in one of our studio armies.
• Commander tier - we will work with you on creating a battle with a force or scenario you helped imagine.

This is brand new territory for us! We are always humbled by the support we get from people and the willingness to help us succeed. These are experiments and hope that whoever goes to these tiers finds it fun and rewarding. We will have a limit to how many of these tiers we can offer and handle.

Special Character Tier If you join this tier we will let you choose one model in one of our studio armies to name. We will apply modifications to that model to give it unique character and so we can identify it as the model you named. When this model is played in a game we will cite the name you gave it. The named model will retain that name for that game or possibly games.

After 6-months in this tier that model will permanently inherit that name.

The name must align with Play On Tabletop values so while the universe is grim dark if a name goes "too" far, we will let you know and reserve the right to suggest a rename.

Commander Tier We will work with you on creating a battle to showcase on our channel. We will work with you on getting the generals (could even be you!) and the forces. If it requires painting a new studio army in colours of your choosing and the faction of your liking we are going to be open to that too and it depends on resources and complexity of the request. The goal is to collaborate and create something out of your imagination.

This is a mountain of effort. Will be tons of fun and we will need to collaborate and compromise so that we can achieve this together!
