Merlin may have the qualifactions to be the "Grand Caster" but wasnt summoned as a "Grand". The version we see now is the REAL Merlin, straight from Avalon to help save the team so he's not even a servant

The time is finally right and without spoiling the future his presence is very much needed to finish to actually defeat Beast II aka Tiamat.

2025-05-25 01:03:27 +0000 UTCThis is my favorite episode man. It's just so good. Answering questions: 1. Regarding the correction of the Singularity. If they restore the Singularity, everything will return to normal... except for the people that have already died, they will still be dead even if the Singularity is repaired. But as Gil said, even if one human survive, they will be able to continue history without any problem. So it would be humanity's victory. 2. Merlin poping off of Avalon is something he can do because this Singularity is something previous to his imprisonment and because Avalon is a higher dimension outside of Space and Time just like the Throne of Heroes. I don't know if you rememeber my commnent saying that Bediviere traveled back in time thanks to Merlin in the Camelot movies. It was beceause he had reached Avalon that Merlin managed to help him with that. 3. The first Hassan just assumed the name of Ziusudra (the guy in the underworld) to go unnoticed. So yeah, the Grand Assassin Hassan was in the Singularity from the beggining, waiting for his turn. And yeah, he is the same that help us in Camelot.
