This is the kind of true full speed ahead episode in The Apothecary Diaries which many like the show for, I'd say. But of course, those episodes only work when all of those little mysteries have been set up slowly before. S2 as a whole felt like it continuously set up stuff until this point where it all falls into place. Also... one bit which hangs on to my mind: "Your name is too straightforward." - Suirei to Shisui... that implies to me that Shisui's real name is something else. But... what is that? I reckon that the answer to that will come in the next few episodes.
