Ever Wanted a Play On Discord Server? Well...

Hello, Everyone!

Space Marine Steve logging on to share with you a really interesting story AND a great expansion of the rewards given to our Play On family!

We have had requests from Patrons, people on YouTube, personal friends, etc... to open up a community page that can be given to our audience so they can talk about the game, talk about Play On, and share their hobby. Discord is one of the premium places to accomplish all of this in a quick, easy, and functional way. However... we just never had the time to set it up. Most of us work full time, create content for Play On, and with the hustle of life have just never been able to make it happen.

Someone Beat Us To It!

Well, we had some very driven audience members get a little tired of waiting and they did it for us! One day we all awoke to a fully functioning discord channel all about.... well... us! Haha, bit surreal, honestly. For some time, the channel existed separately from Play On, slowly growing an active group of gamers sharing their lives, hobby projects, and a passion for the game.

Okay, So What Does That Mean for Patreon?

Well! I am here to make a really important announcement! We have been working side by side with the fantastic moderators of this incredible, pre-existing, community and we are going to be making a change.

It has been a long time desire of our Patreon community (all of you) to have a place you can interact with each other, talk hobby, and talk Play On. Well, in a great collaboration, the Discord Server generously created by somebody else, is going to become a Patron's only Discord Server!

With one caveat! 

Anyone that was already a part of the server is being grandfathered in and carried over, regardless of being a Patron. With that being said, there will be some locked channels that are reserved for our Patrons (each of you) and that is where we will interact with you as our Patrons directly, as well as getting updates from our Patreon site. An announcement has been made on Discord giving them the same information and letting everyone get used to the change.

We are excited to expand the community and we hope you enjoy even more of our Play On Tabletop audience to interact with and you all enjoy the hobby together!

When?!

There are a few technical things to hammer out to make sure it is going to work they way we want it to, giving you the best user experience we can. However, you will not be waiting long! Much like how we awoke one fine morning to find a fully functional Play On Discord channel... you too shall awaken one morning this week to a fully functional Play On Discord channel!
