Season 2 part 1 also has the witches episodes, which are my favorites. The episode where they convince Subaru to live for himself and he sees that satella isn't the monster she is portrayed as, as least not completely... That episode hits me hard every time I watch it .

The rumors for a while have suggested that s 3 was supposed to be longer and cut apart for production reasons. You already saw reports of how long this cour took. The big tell was the original promo image for S3 had characters we haven't seen in S3 because they're in the next arc we were supposed to adapt.
