Cloud Strike: Play On Tabletop's Crusade Story

On the outskirts of known space the tinkering of a curious race may lead to the doom of an entire system.

In a seemingly unexplored and barren sector of space converge six forces all with their own agenda.  Some pursue a great prize while others seek personal vengeance and glory.  

The Play On Crusade Campaign Map features three levels: the two moons of Tamara-1; An Adeptus Mechanicus Cloud Base in the high atmosphere; and, the planet surface of Tamara-1.  Here on Patreon you can follow the progression of each force as they traverse the battlefields and clash with enemy forces.  The rich and diverse environments presented on this map will ensure each battle is unique.

A Crusade Begins!  

The T’au have suffered terrible losses in this seemingly unexplored and barren sector of space.  The only spoil of war being an object of mysterious power and unknown origin.  Unfortunately for the T’au a raiding force of aggressive and determined Adeptus Mechanicus broke through the T’au fleet’s defenses and stole all that they had gained.  Resources depleted and casualties great the Ethereals decide that further activity in this sector would not be worth the risk and order a withdrawal.

However, a small force of T’au with other ideas break off as the main fleet retreats to safer space.  Seemingly looking to avenge the fallen, these T’au disregard the commands of the Ethereals and have chased the object to a heavily fortified Adeptus Mechanicus research facility in the atmosphere of Tamara 1.  A brave detachment from the Farsight Enclave, their motivations not entirely clear, meet the Adeptus Mechanicus from Forge World Agripinaa, masters of defense, and the ensuing battle is devastating to both sides.  Completely enveloped in battle, the two factions are unaware of other forces transpiring against them.

Cloud Strike will be a 40k in 40m Episode and it is our most challenging battle production yet.  Look for its release in September.
