I'm not sure when was the first time we heard Shirabe and Kirika's surnames but I do remember them introducing themselves with full names during the talent show battle with Chris back in G so we definitely heard them before. But it honestly makes sense not to remember them as I'm pretty sure their surnames/full names have been mentioned the least of all girls. The resolution of Shirabe's problems may have been rushed but I really like this duo. Having Tsubasa be the one to help Shirabe open up to others shows how far she has come since season 1. And the fact that this pair gives us a Nana Mizuki and Yoshino Nanjo duet may also play a bit of a role in my biased excitement for this duo 😅
