We all watched the OPs as the anime was airing and did not get spoiled, because context matters, otherwise you just get nice meaningless pictures to look at. Every anime show comes with OPs that are meant to be watched as they are, yes they will blatantly flaunt spoilers at your face but none ever knows what anything means until after they get context from the show. The people planning the show know what to show you, they don't want to ruin the experience by showing too much in the OPs. Even William Shakespeare spoils the ending to his own play at the very beginning by showing Romeo and Juliet dead, but is it really a spoiler if it is meant to be a device to further the enjoyment of the plot?

2024-12-05 00:44:22 +0000 UTCAs far as spoilers in the OP go I 100% recommend you waiting until at least episode 17. There is still things you aren't going to know after that, but they are more of the "wtf is that" kind and less so "oh wow that is something I didn't want to see early" type.

Rin basically has two modes: the mask of a traditional mage, pragmatic, cold and brutal when required. But that isn't really who she is, but who she thinks she should be as a mage, and she struggles with that, because she actually cares about others (we see this already in episode 0 when she saved Shirou's life). So she sometimes acts cold, and sometimes she ditches the mask. Also, if you're worried about spoilers, wait a few episodes to watch the new OP I think. It has some spoilers.
