The thorny vines on her face are supposed to visualize the lingering guilt she feels about having helped Finè, especially by awakening Solomon's Cane which has killed a LOTTA people over these two seasons.

I'd recommend watching the Miku henshin like others mentioned, maybe after next ep or after the season, but if you're downloading from fansubs it's almost certainly included in an "Extras" folder. The one on Youtube that's linked above seems sped up, probably for copyright avoidance.

The reason for this i think because in the scene before that frame is noise with green background, so the filter make it like Chris still cage by the guilt of activating solomon cane (relic to summon noise)
