Progress Report

I'm alive! So far at least. Sorry I've been a bit silentish, my birthday was yesterday so I took it a bit easy. Otherwise, I've been chewing away at everything on my figurative plate as fast as possible since I know I'll lose a few days around the holidays. That said, progress has been solid, so lets dive into a quick(ish) progress report!

Left Hand Magic

So, I'm already completely through both Trix and the Arianna/Talia Route Weekend 6 event rendering. I'm also about 75% of the way through the Talia Route. I'm fully expecting to finish that event today/tomorrow. That will just leave the Revina route. Which I'm hoping to finish the rendering for by roughly the 21st. Sooner than usual, but...holidays.Specifically, I have family coming into town around that day, so my time will be a bit more limited by (shudder) 'social interaction' after that. Hence the rush to get as much done as I can before then.

I'm not going to attempt more new content beyond the 4 remaining Weekend 6 events (8 animations). However, if I end up being able to run some additional renders while off doing social obligations, I might update a few of the animations on my 'to fix' list. I've got like 10 or 12 that have enough issues I'd really like to go back and fix some issues with them. Given the game has something like 500 animations at this point, that's not a huge amount, but it still needs doing....

Mixed Media Short

This is pretty much right on schedule. I've got 13 renders done for it already and fully expect to get at least one, possibly two, more done tonight. I'm hoping to wrap up rendering for it at about the same time I finish the Left Hand Magic renders, giving me as much time as possible to sneak in the post-processing and writing around spending time with the aforementioned visiting family. Hopefully, this will release before Christmas.

Short Story

This month, I'm actually fairly on top of this. It's about 50% written already, and I'm fully intending to have it out by Christmas Eve at the latest. Given that it's holiday themed, I want it out before the actual holidays. Also, I just want it cleared out of the way so that the days after Christmas aren't horrible. I'm attempting to get everything except the game release out before Christmas, so that Left Hand Magic is the sole thing I need to squeeze in between Christmas and New Years. Both of which will be days off for me. Even I'm not crazy enough to work on Christmas if I don't have to, and almost every New Years I go to an old school annual Lan party to catch up with my oldest friend. Only dude I knew in High School that I still talk to 20 years later.
