Also the OPs give you a lot of hints about what is going on (which sometimes turns on its head when you get new info durring the arc!). And yea since this the perspective of araragi... he's going to tell it in a way to make himself look good XD like saying he's all alone at the park when we heard child laughter... Just bc he doesnt care about background people and ignores their existance lmao and yea. pause as much as you want. monogatari fans like analyses a lot :)

The fact that all the characters are representations of herself is an allegory of the loneliness she experienced during the many years she wandered as a ghost, where the only form of socialization was her with herself.

2024-09-19 21:43:20 +0000 UTCI dont think you should hesitate to pause to work through stuff. Monogatari is DENSE and it's easy to miss things. Processing everything is part of the experience IMO.
