Yuu Finally Takes The Initiative! | Bloom Into You Episode 12 REACTION

My favorite so far! Spicy business!

Comments

I really appreciate all of the kind words! I am just talking from my experience so a lot of people with different experiences might disagree. I 100% can see where you are coming from with your breakdown of that line and while I don't have personal experiences like that, it is always informative to read about other peoples experiences and their opinions on the matter! Thanks!

Oh yeah, the whole reason I wanted to comment was that I love whatcha said about one's "true self." I concur. The "true" self can be changing immensely in any single day or hour or moment. In fact, I'd say that if you live life in a way that constantly causes you to change, to become someone new, to grow, you are then making the most of your time in that life. If your "true self" stayed as is, from a year ago or a decade ago, what does that say about how little you've seen and heard, how lackluster those many days must have been. I yearn to have my mind blown and my expectations hopelessly arrogant fairly often. I'd love to expect "Awe" on such a regular basis that I'd be unrecognizable to those who haven't seen me in years.

I gota say, this was an exceptional reaction video, and your videos are always good. I greatly enjoy how into the story you get. I LOVED your saying that it felt like you were intruding. That is a pristine way to phrase watching that scene. On another note, that whole "you can't love someone else unless you love yourself" is fing malarkey. Having angst or doubt about oneself, even overwhelmingly negative thoughts about oneself, should never get in the way of coming to cherish and feel affection for another person. Denying your love towards someone else, just because you do not like who you are or where you are in life, sounds like feeding into the helplessness and agony of being in a depressed or harmful state. You feeling that you are someone you'd hate or don't respect should never stop you from inding the light that shines on you from someone you cherish being there for you. Sure, you are FAR more likely to hurt each other or disappoint one of you if you are not in a position to accept who you are, or to change what you don't like about yourself, but that does NOT defeat Love. One of the grandest feelings is discovering that someone irreplaceable has inspired you to step forward, to say "NO!" to everything you disapprove of within yourself, to make even the smallest change to reach for your own light of self-love. I spent a very, very long time not loving or respecting myself, but I still found love in others, and those people gave me a splash of neon colour on those gloomy, painful memories. Seriously, love your fucking content a whole lot.

Previously I already guessed that Touka hates herself, this is kind of the only way you can plan to overwrite yourself with another. But I still disagree with you :P When you still thought she wanted to become LIKE her sister, she already correctly assumed that Touka wants to BECOME her sister, and that there is nothing healthy behind it. That Touka pressured herself and deleted her own self to become her sister. And Yuu wanting that obsession to stop - was never toxic. I mean, in a way YOU decide how you want to be, but I also think as friends and closer people there is a responsibility to show, if you are walking on ways that will hurt you. Touka hurt herself long enough, telling herself to be irrelevant against the bright light of her lost sister. I am the same way afraid and hopeful for the next episode. There is a high chance, that Touka will reject Yuus outlook and the new ending. I would also take a guess and maybe Yuus friend makes her role in that play more important than before.

Oh the story is not finished in the anime apparently, so it’s not going to conclude in the next episode. I will also need to read the manga to get to the ending.

Well, that was great. But I have a feeling that Yuu might sacrifice her own relationship with Touko by changing the ending of the play. Because in the original ending of the play, she decides to go with the version of her with her lover, and that relationship is described exactly like the relationship between Yuu and Touko (see at 05:43). Honestly, I don't see how this can be resolved in just one more episode. I just started this episode in the manga and it is at the end of volume 4. There are 4 more volumes in the manga, or potentially 12 more episodes for the anime. Anyway, this is a great story so far.
