Alright, time for another progress report. Honestly, a bit past time, but I've been busy with both working on the game and some regular life stuff that needed doing. Anyway, let's dive right in, it's mostly good news.
Left Hand Magic
Unfortunately, this is the one point where the news is a bit mixed. Ariana, Trix, and Revina's weekend content is all rendered and ready. Talia's is ongoing but should be finished sometime tomorrow. After that, though, I still need to tackle the Trix/Rev threesome content from the week 3 weekday stuff. That will be involved enough that I'm genuinely unsure if I'll be able to squeeze the second masturbation scene option into the time I've allotted for rendering. That's not, honestly, horrible. Even if I don't squeeze that scene in, we'll have 6 new scenes, all of them with dual-stage animations, and 5 of the 6 will be fairly long. Much like Weekend 2, the number of scenes for Weekend 3 is misleading, since each of them contain significantly more content than their Weekday counterparts.
Overall, I'm still reasonably pleased with how this is going. I'm just not quite sure exactly what I'll squeeze in, and the delay from last month is haunting things a bit with the ghost of a domino effect. If there's a delay this time, I don't expect it to be any longer than the Haven's Port one was, a day or two at most. And even then...it basically will just be the domino effects from that delay and should easily be made up for next month. Haven's Port is, under most circumstances, the far more forgiving game schedule wise. Last month was purely a case of accidental overreach on my part, not quite realizing just how big some of the scenes I was making actually were.
Silas Station
Rendering is done for the next entry of this and I'm actively in the process of doing to post-processing on the renders. I paused to type of this update as I realized during post-processing that there was a render with a big enough issue (One I obviously hadn't noticed) that it needed redone. That's running now and shouldn't take more than another hour or so. Not really a bit issue. Either tonight or tomorrow I'll start working on the text for this as well, depending on how the Short Story stuff goes.
Short Story
I ran into some minor writer's block here. Honestly, the new Mass Effect:Final Error entry has been like 95% done since around the 16th. The last 5% I just keep brain-freezing on. I'll be taking another crack at it tonight. If it refuses to be written, though, I'll just switch over and work on the text for Silas Station.
I'm slightly worried about the second short of the month, since it was the actual poll short. I really need to get on it over the next few days, since around the 25th or 26th I'll need to hard-stop any other work to pour all time and energy into Left Hand Magic's programming/writing. Even that will be cutting it a bit fine, given that the programming for LHM is much more time consuming than for Haven's Port. Still, so long as the other short doesn't fight me to the same degree, this should all still be doable.
If it's not, I've always made it clear that short stories are subject to delays in favor of the other rewards. It'll also get done, sooner or later, though. I'm fairly confident I've proven that definitively over multiple years at this point, so I'm trying not to stress too much over it if a minor delay occurs. I'm...really bad at not stressing over that, since I hate even mildly or temporarily disappointing patrons. But I'm trying to learn to be at least a little less freaked out over it...
